The curriculum influenced me to take this course because it is a wholesome course for hotel management interested person. it offers all core subjects in and out and if you seriously give any sort of attention by Heart then you might get benefit in the long term. Teaching methods indeed have to improve. Exams are pretty much straightforward and decent to appear. again it's universal, if you have prepared for it then it's quite easy for you. It is what it is.

The industrial training coordination cell is pretty convenient for those who get confused about where to do an internship. Personally, I got to work in JW Marriot Pune with a stipend of around 5K a month. Industrial training is one the best hands-down exposure that a student receives, it's up to them how to grab that experience and make it count.

From 5th semester onwards students are allowed to appear on campus. Companies on campus: TAJ, Oberoi, Starbucks, MacDonald and etc. MT's are offered. Highest package:5.5lakh/p.a Around 50-60% of students get placed each year(May vary according to the preference of the students to appear for it or to continue further study) If you don't get placed on campus then you can try for the WALK in interviews. faculty can guide you in this regard.

There are some scholarships which you can get. To be honest I didn't get the chance to enrol as I had no idea of it but later when my friends told me then I realised it was there only. If you can ask me how much I spent on my degree at ihm goa then the figure may be around 4-4.5lakhs in total.(with course fees and other expenses such as PG a rented flat, I and my friends ate cooked food for the whole degree, we used to cook food at home only so you again save some bucks there) as I was so particular about my expenses throughout the course it may vary for you, so please spend wisely and Enjoy in between as well.

To be honest there are some events which take place in the college but the college is more on the side of encouraging students to design, develop and organize these fests. Little to no sports (outdoor), indoor sports like carrom, and other sports are conducted. Rotract club IHM Goa, and Skal international Goa are some clubs.

The eligibility criteria is the NcHMCT JEE exam You may find the form or application to the form on NCHMCT site There are reservations too in admission process. The exam is quite easy as the same structure of Maths, English, LR, GK and Aptitude is there in the paper

Faculty to student ratio is pretty decent and practicals happen very frequently without a due. Some of the faculty members have strong experience in teaching this curriculum and some are just there to attend to students and finish their syllabus as soon as possible. Very few of the faculty members would encourage you to meet them or ask for any queries and doubts, but Relax and ask for it. They are there to help at the end of the day
