Course Curriculum Overview

In today's era artificial intelligence and data science is in very demanding and it is demanding also in future. Our curriculum provides some basic knowledge about our course as well as other things which are in demand. We have two internals with 1 hour time duration and one last semester exam of 3 hours. And difficulty level is average.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 108784 per year

Placement Experience

From third semester students are eligible for campus placement. Placement is not good as it will be. Average package is of 3.5 lakhs and highest package is nearly 6 to 7 lakhs per year. Very few students get placed. Approximately 8 to 10 percent students get placed. My plans after getting degree of doing masters otherwise do job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our tution fees are Rs.108784. And other stationary fees nearly about 2700 in first year and after that nearly 600 l. And library fees as well as identity card fees Rs.100 except from total admission fees. I have scholarship as I am OBC student hence my admission fees are Rs.56000.

Campus Life

There are various functions held by our college like milestone, hackathon, etc. Books and journals are available for nearly every student. Also college has NSS unit, E- cell unit, and shaids with respect to every department.

Admission

Eligibility criteria is good according to course. But it can be better. Admission process is somehow lengthy. Faculty should have to look on it. Exams are on every month with average difficulty level. Admission process can have to be done online.

Faculty

In our faculty there are about 10 members. In qualification some staff has Ph.d degree including Head of Department and some has masters degree with 2,3 year average experience. Faculty is good about there skills and knowledge and provide all possible things which are helpful for students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. In datta meghe you can get addmission through jee, mht cet and management Cet cut off for computer branch is near to 92.5 percentile for general for caste it is low Most of the students get addmission through MHT cet in my college. I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat...Read More
