Avik's College Experience

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) is a graduation degree in the field of Management. Expect a service life specially in the corporate sector after this. A specialised MBA (Masters in Business Administration) proves to be a very beneficial for a better job. Management degree according to me prepares to you to be good manager not only at your work place but also in life. Don't try chasing something/someone (like money, respect, boss, life partner etc, etc...) rather build yourself in a way that you are chased by whatever you have in your mind. I really don't think I am still qualified enough to judge Teaching Methods or Course Curriculum as such but just would have been happy to learn some on ground studies in the span of the course. If you are a average student like me and regularly study the minimum you can easily manage with the exams and attain good marks.

Companies like Amazon, TCS, Ola, Uber, Flipcart come for College Placements and offer jobs and positions in their companies to the students who deserve getting them. Internships are also offered during the tenure of your course. One would be offered jobs and positions, defined roles which teaches one to handle pressure of work, group work and a whole lot of new things and experiences which boosts one's resume!

After final Semester, that is after the end of the course, one is eligible for Campus Placements. Companies like TCS, Amazon vists our college for giving placements. Highest packages go to even 60LPA with average being 12-15LPA. 70%+ is generally advised for students to get good placement offers. My plan is to give CAT and get a good college for MBA.

My college charges 172000/- for BBA, 3 Yr Course which according to me is somewhat affordable for middle classes. West Bengal Government's Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is something one can avail for and even the Student Credit Card loan which I have availed and have been for helpful for me. Campus employments are given by companies like TCS etc. There are internships as well for interested students. I personally have availed for none but one interested, has facilities for these.

Annual Sports Meet is known as Athlica in the winters and Fest at around May takes place each year too. Books of all courses are present in the library along with journals and daily newspapers. Sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Kho Kho, Badminton are famous in our college along with all Track and Field and Athletics. Students practice both in the morning and evening. Facilities like benches are enough to accommodate full strength of the class. There are different clubs present like NSS, Asha etc. which Students can join which is beneficial for Student Life and their future.

After passing out 12,one can avail for the BBA course. Application Forms, Fees, Dates differ from college to college or universities to universities, can be easily found out on their websites online or physically in respective Colleges. Entrance Exams' rules depend and differ universities to universities. My college is affiliated to Makaut University so I had to take an entrance test which I had cleared easily or ny average student would. Every 6 months are the Semester Exams conducted from University and in between Class Assessments are conducted 4 times between Semesters easily to be cleared by average study routines.

The teachers are very qualified, helpful and are really good teachers not only of their concerned subjects but also of life. There are also enough number of faculty members of all the students present. They are all time approachable almost with all problems of studies or of life. At least I personally have very good bond between all the teachers and faculty members.
