BITS-Pilani It's Magic

The Course curriculum was comprehensive and helped develop an aptitude towards the subject. The curriculum was very meticulously designed which helped develop a lot of interest towards the subjects. There were a lot of interesting teaching methods used by teachers which helped improve the learning experience.

The students were offered two internships during the complete course journey namely PS-1(Practice School) and PS-2. PS-1 was offered at the end of 4th Semester which was a 2 month long summer term. The PS-2 was a 6 month long internship which was very fruitful for us as students.

The students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. The highest domestic package recieved as per my rememberance was 90 LPA and overall highest package recieved was 1.4 CrPA. The average package at BITS is 14 LPA. Almost 100 percent students were placed in the year 2022.

The fees was a bit of sour expereience for the students as it was quite higher compared to the other colleges in the country. There was a scholorship provided for the students based on the performance. The campus placements are amazing here at BITS. A lot of companies come with varying disciplines.

There were 3 major fests that were organised every year at BITS. APOGEE - The technical fest, BOSM - The Sports Fest and OASIS - The Cultural Fest. The library was huge with an amazing infrasturture and you could find almost every book as it was Old one. The fests were run by the students. There were numerous clubs and department for any field of interest you could imagine. These were quite welcoming to the interested students and offered a lot of exposure which a college student otherwise misses on.

The Hostel rooms were of a good quality but the Hostel fees was higher compared to the services provided. The meal offered was of good quality. The affordabilty part was bit of a challenge for the students.

BITS has a seperate exam for the admissions i.e. BITSAT. You can only apply to the course if you have scored more that 75% in your Board exams. You can find the application form on the BITS official website. There is no reserevation for anybody and the admission is totally based on the merit. The exam takes place once every year evidently in the month of May.

The faculty at BITS Pilani was qualified and had a lot to offer to the students. The professors were very supportive throughout our time at BITS. They provided top quality mentorship both in studies and other aspects of life as well.
