The campus is very big and has many buildings which is easily identifiable.
The faculty there is very good who understands the students and take nessecary steps.
There are many courses which is related to self devolpment as well as all round devolpment.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I have taken is computer science engineering. So the faculty here are well versed with the course which makes the students to understand the course very well. Even if the the students does not understand there are teacher for clarification.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure goes like 100000rupees for college 100000rupees for hostel 25000 rupees for transportion 10000 rupees as devolopment fees. This is if your going by kcet. This is just a rough fees structure.

Campus Life

The overall experience is good. There are many clubs which you can join in the first year itself. There are many events which will be there throughout the year. Its very easy to join the events. There are many events like hackathon, sports and many more.

Hostel Facilities

There are 3 sharing rooms which is spacious enough. They provide bed, cupboard, study table and chair. We have 2 socket for charging. We have study lamps for each table and a single fan in the room which I did not like as the fan air wont come to the person on the edge.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

There are three ways in which you can get admission: Kcet, Comedk, Management. Personally I got admission through kcet. The admission process is very easy and will be guided by the people there. The kcet rank for this year was nearly 5 k

Faculty

The faculty there is highly qualified in their own field. There are 3-4 faculty per subject which helps in clarification of doubt more easily and faster. Students can interact with the teacher whenever they are free.

"BIET Davanagere: A Hub of Opportunities with Room for Improvement"

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
