Teachers are very helpful . They providing all guidance related to your studies and courses.. they are soo helpful ...
Library is also very big . In my free time i usually go to library..many facilities provided like many books , magzine, newspaper and alot things .. also in library in a.c

Dislikes

Washroom... some time washroom is not well cleaned ..
Canteen food rate is soo high..many students who belonged to lower class they are not eat because of high rates..
Hostel rule is also not good..some students whose are hostlers they said that hostels food is not good ..

In this college I choose sociology because my keen interest in this subject..I see many colleges who providing this course but regarding this course no one is comparing ..I want to say that this college providing me alot things and happy to part of this college..

I'm doing post graduation in sociology from mcm dav college chandigarh in my case they are not providing any scholarship..and I want to say that in this college fees are so high .they charging 30000 for one year this is so high for a middle class or lower class families..

Campus Life

In this college many functions fastivals are celebrated like meeraki , diwali fest , farewells , basant panchami, lohri, and my favourite holi ...the college campus is also very big and beautiful especially a beautiful garden's.. Library also very big and many books magzine newspaper are available.. May sports and games are providing if you are interested..

Admission

They are not taking any test for admission..just goo and fill forms and your seat is confirmed..and other process is submitted form online and also pay online your fees ..if you want to do studies in this college minimum qualification 12 pass out from any board

Faculty

Faculty members are very good they providing all information regarding notes , studies and also they guided for future life... All teachers behaviour is also good ???? Many teachers are motivated and also they are giving a strength and motivation to regarding studies and for challenging life.... In this college staff faculty and all things are soo good ..

Department of Political Science - An Enthusiastic and Active Arm of Panjab University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best thing about this curriculum is that it is non very burdensome for us and easy to navigate through. It is well divided into multiple units making it easier to navigate through. For example - there is this course of key concepts in the very first semester which lays foundation for upcoming all semesters. Similarly in the first semester, we are taught Constitution of India laying the basics very clear . I personally choosed this course due to my interest and it's application in almost every competition exam out there. There can be a little bit improvement regarding the introduction of research methodology courses. Since there are no courses yet, it often cause a problem for students who want to pursue PhD in future. The frequency of exams is fine enough as there is a lot of time for us to adjust in the new semester and enjoy all the curricular and co curricular activities without a constant load of examinations all the time. This is the best thing I find.
