Likes
- I like crowd and the campus life, its a whole vibe!
- There are many clubs and anybody can interview to join these clubs and societies.
- I like most of the faculty of my department, some teachers are very helpful.
Dislikes
- Some of the faculty is not great, very unhelpful and arrogant.
- Attendance has to be 75% which is okay but the fine is excruciatingly high
- If a student missed the mid semester tests, they have to reappear but even if u do reappear or not, u still need to pay a high fine.
Course Curriculum Overview
Apart from the main exams, mid semester tests are held which are necessary to pass in order to give the final exams. The curriculum is moderate level and most of the teachers are good at their job, in my department for example, we are to buy the notes that are made by our teacher instead of books.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of per year is rs. 30,000 hence three years makes it 90k and every semester before exams we are to give 3k. Apart from that the fines are very high like the attendance fine that everyone less than 75% of attendance has to give. There is no guaranteed placement and internship opportunities are there but with no stipend and are paid.
Campus Life
Festivals are usually held 1-3 times a month. The library is easily accessible and does have quiet decent range of books available. There are mainly 5-6 clubs and societies like the rotaract club or the sarva saksham club which is the theatre club run by the students themselves. One can interview in the beginning of the year and be a part of the clubs.
Admission
There are no interviews or any tests that are held, admissions are done on the basis of merit, the grades of 12th grade and one can apply online from the website where they'll get the admission form and all necessary details, they are also available on the website of the college.
Faculty
The faculty is definitely qualified enough, talking about my own department, psychology. Most of the teachers are helpful and u can ask them for help regarding any placements or any other problems that one may be facing except for the problems that are dealt by teachers at higher level who may be a little arrogant.
