Entrance Preview

I was selected in merit basis based on my diploma marks. Although I got the last seat I was happy and proud to be a part of the college. Students here are mostly through cet and IIT jee .

Course Curriculum Overview

The college has a good mix of practical and theory setup which encouraged us to do some research during our last year. We all had done some or the other research projects and submitted at least one IEEE paper for the last year few of them were selected for publishing in the conference.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. There are many companies such as NVIDIA , persistent , amdocs ,soft corner ,etc. That used to provide project sponsorship as well as the stipend money. NVIDIA offers around one lakh .

Placement Experience

Almost Every company comes to the campus be it Google , Microsoft c, NVIDIA , Morgan Stanley , citi etc. Highest package in the college is around 26laks and the average goes around 4.5 lakhs every year. The college comes in top 10 when it comes to numbers in placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible , being a private college the fees are reasonable it was 60k in 2012 . As per the terms and conditions of the trust board the fee structures used to be designed. Also mid term fees procedure was there for some poor students. The fees structure can be termed as reasonable .

Fees and Financial Aid

The college used to provide OBC scholarship , EBC scholarships for students by the govt of India. We had a simple procedure just to fill the form and submit it to the college clerk .

Campus Life

The events in college were not just for the IT there were events related to electronics such as robo wars etc. The gender ratio was maintained since there were reserved seats for females n male quota. Economically the college was well equipped with money and other facilities.

Exam structure is as per the pune university since it is affiliated to the university. There are two preliminary tests at college level followed by the university exam . The term work is based totally based on the performance of the student through out th

Placement Experience:

The students gets placement from 6 th sem with internship and ppo . The average package is 26-28 lpa and the highest was 2 crore . Major companies that visit are google , amazon , microsoft, meta, adobe and many more product based companies. Almost 88% get placed some go for higher studies and some start their own startup . Good Experince at VU

Placement Experience:

from 4th year all the students gets offers of placements. and from 3rd year students started getting Internships. also there is google dev groups club in house placements in our college. i don't know in details but from my side it could be 15lpa highest and lowest as in every colleges like 2,3lpa something arround. Almost 80% students gets placements who all are focusing on there carrer my plan is to get settle in luxurious lifestyle after getting my degree

How is Wit solapur ?

Placement Experience:

After completing the 6th semester students can apply for campus placements. The placement is average or I may say good although the highest package is not that good it is around 13 lpa. The average package is 3.75 lpa. Around 70 9f students get placed.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
