Likes

The faculty of Information Technology department is very humble and interactive.
The college has a very decent campus and many mess nearby.
The parking is quite good, and ground is also big enough.

Dislikes

The basketball court is in very bad conditions.
The college is located in a very horrible location.
There are many traffic jams, near college.

Course Curriculum Overview

For the first year students, you get an overall view of languages like Java, Python, C++.You study all these three languages and along with this you study about Data Structure and Algorithm in the first year itself.

The college has a tie-up with many industries like Infosys. The college has also a tie -up with Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. Other than this there are many companies which provides Internship.

Placement Experience

The campus placement are quite good as compared to other colleges. It lack a little behind of VIT college in placement. The average placement of VIIT is ?8.5 lakhs. And for Information Technology it it around ?10 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

The total amount of fee is ?184000 which is just ?8000 less than VIT college. This fees covers your all aspects like development fees, tution fees, career katta, etc. The fees is quite high compared to other colleges.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in VIIT, around 30 , covering all technical and bon technical clubs like NSS, XRGF, MESA, TEDX etc. Campus offers good infrastructure for sports and other curriculum activities than VIT.

Admission

The cut- off for General category for Information Technology is around 97precentile in MHT-CET and for JEE Mains it it around more than 90%. I don't have any idea about any details of reservation benefits.

Faculty

The faculty of Information Technology department ate well qualified and tries to gives you more practical approach rather than theoretical. The faculty itself provides the study material for the exams.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students are eligible to apply for on campus internships and in 4th year 6 month internship is compulsory. Talking about placements generally 3rd or 4th year students can apply for on campus placements. For companies you can the college website about companies, percentage placement, highest package, average package, median package, lowest package, etc. Also there are various options such as Mtech, MBA or abroad studies.
