- College provide the great exposure in the placement and intern side. Even has the one of the best placement in core departments . It ranks 7th position among all engineering colleges in terms of placements
- Good alumni network helps you to build good networking. Professor having vast experience in the research field helps you to pursue career in research. But only senior Professor have these type of expertise.
- College having basic sport facilities consists one hockey ground ,one athletic ground, two basketball court,one lawn tennis court and badminton and table tennis.
Dislikes
- College don't have maintained class room, even ac are not in working condition. Attendance is big deal here which personally i thinks that it reduces the students to improvise in his soft skills and other curriculum activities.
- If you are hosteller then rooms of hostel are very small. Mess food is worst thing in this college.
- Infrastructure of institute is average not very good but yes , you can it decent one .
Course Curriculum Overview
My coarse is civil engineering. The curriculum is pretty relevant with the current advances in civil engineering studies. The improvements which are required includes more number of practical assessments and better lab equipments. The exams include mid term, end term and practical examination. The difficulty is moderate in most subjects but it mostly depends on the professor if the paper would be easy or difficult
Internships Opportunities
Intership is provided under many company for computer science student mainly stipend are around 1 lakh per month. But for only 3 branches cse,ece ,ee.. microsoft Goldman sachs,texas,oracle mainly visit for internship.
Placement Experience
Again talking about the placement i can tell that i have taken this college because of placement also. Even in the core branches it is having good placement . Talking about my branches civil department also have the average placement of 12 lakh per year and about 90 % placement. talking about computer its average package is 27.5 lakh and highest is 1 crore 35 lakh . All tech giants come for the placement just like Google, microsoft, goldman sachs, amazon, oracle and many more . Last year in terms of placement its stand at 2nd among all Nits in india . And 7th rank among all Nits iits and other engineering college. If anyhow i can't avail the placement you can go for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee is fixed here there is no policy for hiking the fees. Its totally centrally government institute. Complete cost of my education is something about 10 lakh in 4 years . Yes some scholarship are available here to whom having family income less than the 1 lakh per year. But no help for the student who are having family income above the 5 lakh per year Apart from this some students get up scholarship which is of 55000 but this for one time only .
Campus Life
The technical festival of our college is avishkar. And cultural festival is culrav. Yes library have plenty of books and journal Class room are not too much advanced in technically having basic projector only. Having average sports facility but don't having any swimming pool
Hostel Facilities
Having very small hostel that also we have to share with another boy. I can say that this hostel provide the worst quality of food . Even you can't have proper meal .and this is not about one day . Everyday condition of food is that only. Hostel are easily available and process is not much complicated
Admission
The coarse and college eligibility depends on our performance in JEE Mains examination. The cutoff for my coarse was 96 percentile (General category). The admission process includes submission of online registration forms and some documents required for eg. Medical certificate, category certificate (if valid). Then there is offline registration in the college where we have to provide the hard copies of all the required documents. The process was time consuming and wasn't smooth, this is what i didn't like about offline registration
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio is something about 1 :25 .yes some professor are very dedicated to their work having good oration skills which help them to convey of message in much better way from some of the professor. Some professor are very good at the mentor ship. Talking about the availability of the professor almost all professor are available any time .
