Course Curriculum Overview

Currently I am pursuing B Tech in electrical engineering which is one of the oldest branch of our engineering college. Infact the director of the college himself is an electrical engineer. This is an evergreen course which makes me to like this course.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 91300 per year

Placement Experience

As the college is one of the oldest colleges in central India, therefore, it has a very high reputation. So the campus placements are good although it depends on person's ability to grab the best opportunity the companies offer them.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well, I am form other state belonging to general caste, so no scholarship is there for me. However, the fees is not too much high as compared to other government or private colleges. The fees is around 90000 per year foor my branch.

Campus Life

The campus life, especially the hostel life, is remarkable and unforgettable. The college conducts an event called aayam every year. The different clubs in the college also used to conduct events in every 2 or 3 months

Admission

The admission was through the JEE Mains whivh is a very famous exam, usually given by every science stream student who want to become an engineer. All the details regarding the admission is available on the website of the college.

Faculty

The faculty members are well qualified and have a deeper knowledge of their subject. Their way of communication is quite good, however, sometimes it feels like the one way communication is going on. They try their best to give the wider knowledge of their subjects.

Life Outside the Home

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be exact, the curriculum has to be improvised and structured properly for real-world needs. The structure is outdated, and the pattern is too. The industry-based learning is not being promoted at all, as per my observation. The timing for exams is not frequent, but the paper structure is the same as the old so very outdated for a growing economy like ours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus is not updated so they need to update mean put only that subjects that helps atudents in there career.The timing of the exam that is from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm is not good at all it the time when all feel sleepy.

Great learning experience but placement could be better

Placement Experience:

Well the average package of this college is 3.5 lakhs and max to max 90% kd the students get placed in this college ..so I would say that the placements of this college is good but the average package is so low

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible for the campus placements from their 3rd year/ 6th semester of the program. The companies like - tcs, Microsoft, google,tide, and many others. And the no. Of offers made through the company are 30 for senior/junio/deputy manager approximately. The highest package for this program is 14 lakh for the senior managers per annum last year and the average package is 4-5 lakh for junior managers per annum last year . The approximate percentage of students getting placements every year is 50-60%. I have a plan after the completion of degree. I will start a startup based on farmers equipment and i am preparing for it from last 1years and i will start it after 1-2years of completion of degree.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester student eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit in college like prism cement, amazon, wipro etc. Many offers they they give us. Above 65 cgpv will be eligible for campus placement. My plan after getting degree to get the job in construction field. The highest ever package is 18 lakh per annum.

The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed.
