Active SAE club of the college helps students to apply their knowledge and learn to build projects with a team.

Dislikes

Small campus and the students activities for technical clubs have no support from the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Not that up to date but changes are being made to curriculum to increase its relevance, but unfortunately that might nit be enough. Professor don't support SAE clubs and students don't gain much practical/industry knowledge about the subject

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

The college provides decent Placements. Mass recruiting still is main source of placement but other than that many companies still do come to clg that provide avg placemnts. Highest package for mech varies from 10-12 lpa and very few candidates are hored for that position.

Fees and Financial Aid

Financial assistance is provided to those in need. Some seats are tution fee free and are awarded to high jee rankers and other then that st, sc and obc are eligible for medhavi and many scholarships available through out the year

Campus Life

The college is pretty active for an avg student. Yearly cultreal fests are organaised with a lot of things to do and participate. Cultural clubs also organise bootcamps Or events for there clubs every once in a while.

Hostel Facilities

The clg hostel is like every other govt hostel. Sanitation and food is not the best but you tend to get used to it after a while. Clg hostel does provide lan connections to every room bit not every rooms lan works

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

The college accepts only jee marks and the counseling is done through MPDTE site which is the counseling portal for all govt colleges mp. Most seat are reserved for candidates of mp but other states candidates can also apply

Faculty

The faculty compromises of both highly qualified and some Underqualified professors. The good one's are very helpful about every thing and a few really do care about teaching students and making them knowledgeable about the subjects.

IIIT bhopal the hidden gem

Placement Experience:

From 6 and 7th sem student are eligible for placements .paypal, amazon, google and other and their are 147 offer from companies the highest package of this is 65 lakh till now and 85 lakhs last year average packages is approx 17 lakhs and their are approx 85-95 percentage of placements my plans is to become software engineer after college.

My experience at MANIT bhopal

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after 6th semester. Various companies visited MANIT including FAANG and other Indian startups. The highest package was INR 82 LPA and average was around 25 LPA.

Well equipped infrastructure and decent placements

Placement Experience:

The overall placements are pretty decent after looking at the job market currently. The students can go for summer internships during their 3rd year and also during their 4th year's 8th semester for winter internships. The students were eligible for campus placements from 7th semester onwards. Highest package offered was of 61 LPA from Uber and Nutanix for SDE profile Average package was 18 LPA From 2025 batch 60% students are placed My plans are to stay in corporate for atleast 2 years.

The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed.
