MY VIEWS ON LDRP-ITR

The collage is for mainly Computer engineering course. Other branches available but there are more students of CE branch. Specific aspects include selection of Optional subjects in higher semesters. The teaching method is good but some faculties need to improve their approach in finalsubmission and assignments checking. There are 2 exams in a semester one is mid sem and the final. Its not very difficult if you have attended classes and done the work punctually.

I dont know much about internships but heard from seniors that they are doing internships in different companies. Roles offered include softare designing, web development, apo development, game development etc.

From 3rd year onwards students here start to take placements/ internships. Companies like Wipro, TCS, L&T, Zeus, etc. Highest package available is 17 lakh/year and average package is 3lakh/year. It is difficult that all students get placed but approx. 30-40 % of Students get placed. My plan is to pursue master degree after completing this course.

The tution fee is 114000/- for a year which is quite high but considering the elements of this college compared to other colleges it justifies the fee. Exam fee is 850 per sem. There is no other service charge. Scholarship available are digital gujarat scholarship for post matric students for all students and for hostellers food bill scholarship also available. Its still too early for job roles as first year student.

Xenesis is an event conducted every year in LDRP-ITR. There are many competitions which include technical and non technical events. There are mainly no other special events conducted. Students from different colleges come and participate in XENESIS event. All types of books available in library related to course and studies. Other non academic books also available. IEEE is a organisation which participates with the college. Sports activities are also available and conducted once every year. It include games like cricket, kabaddi,football etc.

Hostel facilities are available and the hostel rooms and compouny is quite decent. Food is also average. Fixed menu for everyday. Registration process is simple and the price is the lowest compared to other colleges. Its 43500 per year which justifies the facilities available. Gym is available for the students.

Anyone with passing marks can get admission through ACPC and direct admission also available. Anyone can visit the administration office for admission process and get admission. There are 2 exams per semester and their difficulty level is not so high. Anyone who studied and attended lectures would clear exams easily.

There are more than 8 faculties in every subject. There is no issue regarding faculty deficiency. Enough teachers available. Their behaviour is quite good towards the students. They are very experienced and many of them already have doctorate in their respective subjects. Student can easily interact with the faculties in free time.
