Likes

The main advantage of this campus is that it is Lush Green Campus.
As I choose Computer Science as my there are Pleanty of Computers with unlimited internet connection.
Teachers are really amazing,they teaches us how to be more productive in this wold of competition.I have also published a Research with my friends and a faculty (Mr. Hiranmoy Samanta)...which I have rarely thought off.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum is bit old in comparison with other curriculums. But some of the topics are really good ,like AI-ML/ Web Development/App Development are there.But there are also subjects like Environment studies ,Biology, Economics which are kind of out of track subjects... Otherwise curriculum is pretty good

Fees and Financial Aid

I belongs to a middle class family,inspite of that I am able to pay the fees of my college as there is the facilities like Swami Vivekananda Scholarship as well as Student Credit Card .As College accounts department is very transparent about you problems as they help you to solve your financial problems.So you have to study properly in order to get scholarship.

As a second year student I can definitely say this 2 years of college life is one of the most wonderful time I have ever spend ,,I have made friends, participated in such events which I can rarely think of , Represent my college in various events. In a one-liners I can say,,,an Introvert is made Extrovert by having this college

Admission

You can take admission via JEE or WBJEE. Depending upon the rank in the exam you can get this college, Other than that you can take admission directly in our college by talking to our admission cell memebers. So at first give you exam JEE or WBJEE ,and then check whether your rank is preferable or not taking admission. Somehow you don't have allotted the college then talk to our admission cell they will give you proper roadmap to get addmission in our college.

Faculty

I have came accross one of the most helpful faculty in my student life. All of them are very helpful not only in your studies but also in your career development. I am a second year student,and in this span of 2 years I have completed 3 research paper with the help and guidance of our teachers,and out of this 3 papers 1 paper is also published. Other than that teacher helps us to guide what tech is in dimand,what to learn and even many more things,,,we are pleased to have them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

Our college campus is fully green campus. All teachers and faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. All the classrooms are well groomed. Library is very good. All types of books are available in our library. Semester fees is comfortable for all types of students. Admission process is very easy. All types of scholarship are available for all students. Laboratories are decorated by updated instruments. Gym is available in our college. Playground is very clean. Many outdoor games (like: Football, Cricket, badminton etc.) and indoor games (like: chess, caram etc.) are available in our campus. 24Ã—7 hours electricity and water are available.
