Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is the best part of my computer science and design engineering branch. It comprises of very interesting subjects such as game design, drone design, machine learning, cyber security and much more interesting subjects which are very helpful and enjoyable to learn.
Placement Experience
Placements are average in my college. It is quite good for chemical and petroleum branches compared to tech branches as it is a renowned institute in energy domain. Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester. Companies visited: BPCl, HPCL,ONGC,REZYLYTICS,SUNPETRO,SHELL,ALGOATE AND many more. Highest package: 24lpa, average package:10lpa For chemical and petroleum 96% placements and for tech first batch is yet to pass in 2024. My plan is to get a placement in one of the big MNC's
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee per semester is 123300 and there is no fixed rule of fee increase policy, it may or may not increase. The complete cost of education including all the charges is per semester it is 123300 and for 8 semester it is 986400. Their is no specific scholarship which is offered in my college except the merit scholarship given to top 5% students of each branch based on cpi. I have not taken any campus employment, as there is no such campus employment in my college.
Campus Life
Annual tech fest: Urjotsav. Annual cultural fest: Kaltarang There are variety of useful books available in my library which are very useful. Air conditioned classrooms, with smart boards and blackboards for teaching. There are several sports facilities such as football, basketball,volleyball,badminton,snooker, table tennis, carrom and so on. Arpan, gyanarpan are two social groups that run in my college which helps the underprivileged kids of the locality.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostel room comprises of 2 beds, 2 study tables, 2 show racks, 2 almirah, proper ventilation is available. Meal quality is average menu is good but the taste is not that good, menu comprises of dosa,idli,daal,rice,dahi,lassi,butter mil , gulab jamun and many more Registration process for hostel is included in registration process of college only.
Admission
Eligibility of course: JEE ADVANCED QUALIFIED. Application form is available on official website of the institute, cost of the application form is also available on the website. Reservation benefit which I availed is OBC NCL. There are two exams in each semester (mid and end semester examinations which are quite difficult. Website reliability and results declaration time can be improved.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:100, it is quite good as compared to other colleges where faculty to student ratio is bad from our college. The faculty credentials are not as good as IIT professor's but better than other government engineering colleges. We can easily interact with teachers any time during the working days and most of the teachers are always available to help the students in the every possible way except some teachers which are not helpful compared to other good teachers.
