in my college placement is quite good off couse because is is an IIT the most respectable college in my college last year highest pacage is 2.4 crore and averege is 26 lakhs per year and 84 percentage students are placed

normaly thefees of iit guwahati is less than the private college because it is government college in ittg normaly you have to give one lakh rupees per semester for tuetion fees hostel fees normaly very low in iitg almost student got jobs

my campus life is very good because still i am in irst year but i hear from senior that in my departmet after fiest year year it bnecame quite tough there are many bclubs like coiding FEC CNA and sports clubs

iit guwahati hostels are good there rent is al;so affordeble you have to give 30,000 rupees per cemester for rent it include room charge water , electricity , and good quality food after taking admiision in iitg hostels are given by lottery system

or the admisssion in iit guwahati irast you have to clear jee main and ater clearing jee main you have to clear jee advanced and if in jee also your rank is good then you can get btech degree from iit guwahati

the faculty to student ratio in iit guwahti is 1 : 8 and this is a wonderfull thing the lower the faculty ratio the better the education system due to lower ratio we can interect with teaches often and i like it

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

NIT Silchar Review: Campus, Career and Career Prospects

Placement Experience:

NIT Silchar has decent placement stat. Approx 75 percent student got placement from campus and they got decent package. In NIT Silchar from 7th semester students are eligible for placement and company comes whole year for recruiting. Approx 100 company visit the college throughout the year. In tech Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart and more companies come. For core L&T, Adani, Tata Steel and more companies come. For service base Infosys, TCS, Wipro will come and give good offer. Highest package will come from tech company and that is 52lpa and average from all companies will lie from 10 to 12 lpa . My plans is that in my 4th year atleast I will get one job. If I don't get job then I will try from off campus or giving paper for government job

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Placement Experience:

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

I have applied for DTU & IIITD where I got Software Engineering Branch through the JEE Mains Scores. But since I was sure to join old IIT. I was not sure much about branches so, I just filled all the core and circuital branches of all Old IITs. I wasn't able get other top IITs as my rank in JEE Advanced was not that level. Admission Process: Involves early payments of fees before arrival to the Campus.
