Course Curriculum Overview

From our batch the changes are made in the course. The course is now little advanced as compared to last year. This will help us to learn more things. We can explore more about the industry that we have chosen.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 150725 per year

Internships Opportunities

You have to do internship in 2nd sem. But, hotels also offers vocational training program which is about 10-12 days. Stipend will depend on hotels. College also offers ODCs(out door catering)for which they pay you on hourly basis.

Placement Experience

You can get best placements from this college. Avg. Package offered is 2.5 LPA. Hotels like Taj, Oberoi, ITC, Trident, Hyatt, Mariott, etc. come to recruit the students. These hotels also offers Management Trainee Program.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees also increased from last year. You will have to pay approx. 4.5 Lakhs for 3 years. You have to pay the fees semester wise. 1st sem:- ?83,100 2nd sem:- ?67,625 3rd & 4th sem:- ?68,875 per sem 5th & 6th sem:- ?76,375 per sem In second semester you have to do industrial training. Stipend will depend on hotels. Some hotels also offers vocational training program to all students. This is basically a 10-12 days training program. In this program also you will get stipend.

Campus Life

There are many events held by this college. Freshers party, Fruit mixing ceremony, Christmas gala, cornucopia, Farewell party, etc. are held by our college. We can participate in these events as operational team to learn more from the college.

Admission

You have to appear for entrance exam for this course. NCHMCT JEE is the entrance exam for BSc H&HA. This exam is held in all over India. Registration for this exam starts from Feb-Mar, it closes in Apr. Exam is mostly held in May. For IHM Mumbai, intake is about 480 students. You can check the cutoff for the colleges at NCHM JEE official site.

Faculty

Faculty members are very friendly, they will help you if you are having any difficulties. Some faculties are feisty. But, at the end all are there to help you. There are lots of things to learn from them.

Interview Experience

For admission you will have to appear for entrance exam that is NCHMCT JEE. No GD or Interviews for admission are held. Exam will also MCQ based and online. There are 5 sections and total 200 questions for 3hrs.

Even though there were alot of seats empty in pusa but they all went to waste as they were reserved seats . The admission to anu IHM in the country is on the basis of entrance exam called the NCHMCT-JEE (National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology - Joint Entrance Exam) The admission is on the merit basis and all the rules of reservation apply here too.
