The College of General Studies offers a global, interdisciplinary liberal arts curriculum. My four-year, general education curriculum focuses on humanities, social sciences, rhetoric, and natural sciences. All of the courses here are taught solely by full-time Boston University faculty (all have PhDs), providing students direct access to engage with and learn from experts who are shaping their fields. In addition, our curriculum offers students the flexibility each semester to explore other subject areas or take an elective towards their intended major. At the end of sophomore year, students participate in a Capstone research project in which they propose a solution to a current national or global issue.

When I started working as an intern for ultra tech cement, the first thing I noticed was how nice everyone was. All of the members of the staff created a very welcoming environment for me. Everyone is willing to help each other out in order to get things done. I liked how my supervisors, engineers, would explain the background behind every assignment they gave me. This way I would get to learn more about ultra tech cement as well as gain valuable working experience that will benefit me in the future.

OASIS AND BOSM It's the sheer euphoria of motion, the power of the turning wheels. The landscape becomes a blur, a blast of the desert air greets you as you roll down the windows, this is the road like youve never seen it before. This trip is all about motion, about the frenzy of 96 hours of a continuous drive through the sands of Pilani, which will transform into the ever changing landscape. It is impossible to remember every detail of the countryside, but the snatches that you manage to see will be hard to forget.
