Biotechnology is a very immerging field and it excites me a lot. Biotechnologists demand is rising in India and entire world. Talking with one faculty motivated me to join this programme. Faculties are most qualified and cooperative in this branch. They really enjoys teaching and you can learn so much from them. They all have multiple PhD and Post Docs from foreign universities. They are overacheivers of their batch. Their research are well recognized ones. They are very passionate. Curriculum is little bit tough but totally doable. You have study daily to score good. Placement is decent. You have to do efforts to get placed mostly non core placements. GATE and higher studies culture is very good here. Competition level is very good here. Teachers are so much willing to teach even they motivates us a lot. But students are not willing to attend classes and they bunk classes. Infrastructure is not too good here they are under developed but teachers qualities compensates every thing rating

Summer Internships: Many departments at NIT Raipur facilitate summer internships for students, usually during the break between the 6th and 7th semesters. These internships can be within the institute itself (working on research projects with faculty) or with external companies. Tech Branches (CSE, IT, ECE): Software development, web development, data analysis, hardware design, network engineering roles at IT companies, tech startups, and research labs.

Three slabs for educational fees is here. For more than 5 lakhs family income slab You have to pay Rs70000 per semester. For less than 5 lakhs you have to pay around Rs30000 per semester. And for less than one lakh you have to pay 9800 per year. You can avail private scholarships like i am getting Reliance Foundation Scholarships worth Rs 200000. But college have very minimal scholarships. But third party scholarship opportunities are there. You can signup for national scholarship portal and ONGC foundation scholarships for financial aid. You have to do interships during your 4 year courses in which you can opt for supporting your college fees. You can earn by teaching neighbours kids. They are so much opportunities here. College offers intership in 3rd year of programme. On campus intership and Pre placement Offers. Almost 80-90 percent of students eligible for placement get placed or gets an offer for intership or placement. Career Development Centre is improving a lot in all aspect.

NIT Raipur offers a mixed experience when it comes to campus life. On the positive side, we have active clubs that organize well-received events. our annual technical fest, AAVARTAN, while Sanskriti handles the cultural fest, Eclecticka. Both fests, usually held in the fall and spring respectively, are highlights of the year. Additionally, NSS does commendable work in social outreach. The library is well-stocked, offering a good range of books and journals for academic needs. Classrooms generally have decent technological provisions, though this can vary depending on the department.

NIT Raipur hostels typically house 2-3 students per room, with some having balconies. They include basic furnishings (bed, desk, chair, wardrobe). Each hostel has a caretaker, security, LAN internet, and a badminton court. However, you'll need to bring your own air cooler, which is important considering Raipur's climate. Hostel seats can be limited and might prioritize toppers, making accommodation a potential concern for some students. There's a lack of dedicated space for sports and extracurriculars beyond the main clubs, which might limit opportunities for those with diverse interests. Mess food quality is mixed, with a basic menu of veg/non-veg options. The hostel registration process happens during admission, and fees are generally considered affordable. If you don't get a hostel room, there are rental options and PGs in nearby areas, but quality and price will vary. It's advisable to research these options thoroughly before arriving. Firstly you need to clear JEE Mains with rank under 80000 to get a seat in NIT RAIPUR. This college is situated in Raipur with a lush green medium size campus. Campus lacks in accommodation facilities. You have to fight for hostels by scoring 8+ CGPA every year. Admission process is very smooth here just carry all the listed documents on website. before counselling. Behind College there is station name Saraswati Nagar Railway Station. Behind the station in Kota you can search for PGs and hostel. Accommodation is major problem here. Sports facility is very poor here. Grounds are not well maintained here. I used OBC reservation to get admission here. Process was too smooth. Each Semester ends in 4 months. After 2 months you have Mid SEMESTER and after 2 months of mid sem you have your End semester. Paper is not too difficult few subjects are exception. This college should improve accommodation and sport facility. Placements is okay okay. Overall experience for NIT RAIPUR is i will rate 7
