I had great interest in plant science.So I took botany as my core subject.It helped me to explore in plant world also helped me to understand more about plants and how they become useful to our mankind.without plants there is no life So Botany is a very much important course.I have a great wish to do my research on plants .

Class Size: 13Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college is aided .So fees is much lower when compared to other self financing college. There is fees concession to students with Egrants scholarship.Also our college provide lot of scholarships to students in different categories.It helps students from the high burden of academic fees.But there are still some fees for lab facilities.

Campus Life

Our campus is very nice .It gives us a wonderful environment not only for academics but also for our physical and mental wellbeing.Campus had great facilities such as vast Library,it labs, science labs, herbarium, museum,Gym, playground, canteen etc . students are able to get more knowledge beyond books due to these facilities.Our campus provide great memories to each of students who complete academics from there.

Admission

Admission process was easy because I already completed my graduation at the same college .Msc Botany is a nice course with lot of opportunities so there no worries.Admission fees is little bit higher.but I talked to authorities about my financial condition.Then they made some adjustments.It will be a great relief for me.

Kerala University, the place we can become better self

The course provides three specializations - clinical , industrial and educational. Curriculum are updated bi-annually, which is a great thing as it keeps the subjects relevant to the industry standards. The semesters can become quite hectic after the first internals as each subjects have 2 components. The timing to submit both is close.

The best college for study

Course Curriculum Overview:

Obviously this physics course is tough but the influence of the teachers and other staff made us too motivated and the systematic exam schedule helped us to complete our portion before the exams and there is some more time for the revision purpose.. There teaching method are so useful and they treat us so politely and in friendly nature. So its too easy to clear doubt and feel comfortable to ask them and clear anything.. Its so helpful for us to complete our exam nicely...

Life at IITPKD

Remarks:

JEE Rank was the main factor. The facilities like hostel, labs, etc mentioned in the IIT Palakkad website. During the allotment process, one senior girl student of my branch contacted me and cleared all my doubts whether it was small or big, placement details, etc. After the rankings were released, based on the previous years cut-off ranks, I was able to get a fair idea about the colleges I would be able to join among all the IITs, NITs, IIITs. Based on JEE Mains rankings, NIT or IIITs can be chosen. Based on JEE Advance ranking, IIT can be chosen. Also, 2 mock allotment will take place which gives a fair idea of which allotment we will get. These mock allotment will be based on our preferences. We can change them after the mock. Then the actual allotment will start. Once we finalise our preferences and lock them, there will be 7 rounds of allocation. 3 options will be given in each round-Float, Freeze,Slide (details will be clearly mentioned in the website). Once you are allocated a seat in any round, document verification will take place (seat acceptance fee must be paid at this stage).
