NMAMIT no college life

I think that the course is a bit old but relevant if we compare from other colleges. I would say it quite doesn't prepare you well for real world and most of the things you have to do on your own. Although it can provide you a sense of competence. The exams are held 3 times in 1 semester. 2 are mod sem's and 1 is end Sem. The difficulty is not that much and it's quite easy to score. Teaching and staffs can be improved by introducing them to latest tech and use new and interactive methods of teaching rather than Same old school methods.

Companies do come for placements but they do not offer much placements. Microsoft once came and went without placement. Mahindra with 2 4 placements. L&T with a few placements. And rest are mass recruitments.

Campus placements are average. The AVG. Package is if 7LPA HIGHEST was 46LPA. (2023) don't believe of there is more than that. It's like average and internships opportunities are like average. They can improve on it but don't have high hopes.

The tution fees with scholarship is 1.6LPA and without scholarship it is 2.6LPA. Whereas the hostel fees is 86kPA. Including mess and everything for non-AC rooms. For AC rooms it may differ. All types of financial aids and scholarships are available to claim.

Clubs are there but overall campus life is almost dead. It's literally dead. Nothing to do rather than staying in your rooms or visiting same 2 3 dhaba type restaurants or cafes. No proper sports facilities. They don't even have a badminton court. All they have is one open auditorium and everything happens in that. Even badminton!!!. If you want to go out of hostel there's no life.

Hostel facility is a average. Mess is average. They keep the same menu all the time so you get bored from same menu. The pgs are available but if you are north indian it's not good for you. If not then they are much cheaper...

The admission process was not that smooth as it requires you to be physically present at the time of document submission and it is done way before from when the actual classes starts so if you live far you have to travel 2 times here. Admission is done through NUCAT and management and all the application forms are available on college site. Admission could have been more smoother by skipping the offline physical document submission and replacing it by online process.
