- All the professors here holds the doctorate degrees.
- It has as many as 11 hostels in the campus and one can also enjoy individual room if they want.
- Campus is lush green and indeed the best campus in entire Mangalore District.
Dislikes
- It is very far from main city and all the hangout places are almost an hour from the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
VLSI Designing is now over a billion dollars industry and probably the new age engineering. Along with that we have electrical components as well and therefore it makes it even more tough and interesting to study VLSI Design. We get access to latest tools of design and not just that premium subscription of that all also provided to us by our college.
Internships Opportunities
Designing we do hired by freelancers and social media influencers as they need more of our expertise than others. Also, the kind of learning they provide us as they begin with scratch, I don't think even top end companies can give us.
Placement Experience
Placements in designing industries aren't space after the recent spurge in the industry. Even the top tech companies need designers and therefore over 80% placements for our course is there currently but soon this percentage will touch 100% mark as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
NMAM Institute of Technology which is probably the best placed or ranked engineering college in Udupi and also fees is not that high. Our fees is 1.6 lakhs a year for VLSI Design course which is not offered by many. Merit holders in NUCAT stands eligible for scholarship upto 50%. Caste wise reservations are also there for scholarships.
Campus Life
What a beauty it is as our campus is big and has 4-5 blocks and 11 hostels out of which 7 girls and 4 boys hostels are there. It's an amazing college as it has sports and academic facilities of best quality in entire Mangalore district. Our annual fest Incredia is also amazing and our only canteen Durga Canteen stays open till 1 am.
Admission
There's an example names NUCAT which we have to give to get admission here. Also, the courses choice are made available to us only after the entrance result as CSE and EC and AI are topmost and therefore entrance toppers get it first. Only 75 seats in our course and it also accepts only the top scorers.
Faculty
Our college faculties or the lecturers are most educated one will see. Yet so kind that one can seek as much help from them and they will not back off. With back off they have also taught us to never backoff in life as situations just like the academics will be tough but the tougher it is the stronger we are.
Night Life
Our college has top facilities and curfew time is also quite strict as girls have to be back at campus by 7 pm. Since it's too far from Udupi, we do go to Krishna Ma Temple every month, we mostly got to the icecream parlour which is next to our campus.
