Remarks

There are 2 modes of admission one is through Nucat exam another is direct admission all the forms are available online at their website. There is a special NRI quota available, there are 3 exams mse 1 Mse 2.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is all under the aicte the teacher provides their own notes to students. There are labs for almost all subjects and are included in your final marks. The teachers should teach courses related to their course rather than other branch course

Internships Opportunities

Internship starts at 1 semester only under guidance of mentors who give us projects , from higher semester onwards college placement department helps to get internships under companies for experience and real-life scenario

Placement Experience

Placement eligibility is from 5th semester,a lot of companies visit the campus such as redbus, Texas instruments,Mahindra mercedes and all have come EEE brach has 100% placement,after getting degree higher studies are required.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is based on merit NMAMIT conducts its own entrance exam called Nucat in which according to rank scholarships are offered, other areas of scholarship are sports. There is no fee hike policy in the college.

Campus Life

There are not many clubs or activities to do after college, except a few sports. There are 8-10 clubs on the campus. There is a yearly tech frat called incredea for 3 days and it typically helps during February.

Hostel Facilities

There are different options for rooms including 2 sharing with attached bathroom,2 sharing with common bathroom ,3 sharing with common bathroom,and for higher semester single rooms are also available.the mess food is barely edible. The registration process is simple.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.
