Infrastructure and environment of this college .
Labs are good. PCB lab is there and good lab assistants are good.
Faculties are good on scientist post in this college .

Dislikes

Mess food is not good but sometimes food is good.
Condition of football ground is not good.
Girls ratio is not so much good in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

This institute is mainly specified for the only one branch electronics and system engineering. Course curriculum is very easy . There is good teachers are available as a scientist post. Exams are on moderate level.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is going good after the COVID. Now in 2024 the one company Avench is hieres 10 students of 4th year And 4 students of 3rd year for internship. But the internship heiring ratio is not too much good.

Placement Experience

After the COVID placement is affected. But at this time director of this college is doing good for placements and internship. My seniors are doing internship. After completing btech seniors are doing government job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is good as a national college which is per semester is 44000. Hostel fee is 10400 rs per semester. Mess fee is 3600 rs per month. Scholarship is available for students and reservation for schedule caste and tribes is available.

Campus Life

Campus of this college is good and having good environment. Classrooms having good infrastructure having projector and smart boards . Sports courts are available cricket ground, basketball court, volleyball court, football ground are available.

Hostel Facilities

Hoste rooms infrastructure is good having cupboards and table chair. Wifi is available in hostel rooms. Two fan are available and washrooms cleaning is good and water cooler is also provided in hostel every floor.

Hostel Fee: INR 20800 per year

Admission

Admission process is very easy through jossa and csab counseling. After counseling physical reporting is very easy. Exam helds after every two weeks. And for schedule caste and scheduled tribes students reservation is available and scholarship also.

Overall review of my college life in VIT Pune

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Mostly After 3rd Year Students Apply For Placements Here The Average Package Here Is Good But Percentage Placement On Campus Is Less...Maybe Because A Lot Students Get Off Campus Placements And Many Go For The Further Studies!!!

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

All BTech and MTech students can apply for offcampus placement if required but there sufficient oncampus placements and almost all students get placed.Companies visiting for computer and IT are tcs, infosys, capgemini, cognisant, Nvidia, IBM, etc Total 42 offers were made computer branch and 52 offers for IT branch. The percentage of placements is 80%.
