Our course follows latest structure program and everything will be covered by faculty members. Faculties will also help in preparation of entrance exams which you want to give for further studies or jobs.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided during final year. Various companies like precision Power making, avench, RACL etc. are doing campus drive in our college for the internship. So opportunities are available for students.

Placement Experience

Placements are good also they provide internship opportunities to students who are in final year. Faculties also help students by guiding them to grab opportunities for students benefit. They also provide extra certificate courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

It's skill development college. Faculties are good just we have to keep contact with them. They will help you in many ways. Campus is small. Right now I am in 4th year of my Btech in Electronic System and slowly computer science branch will also be available for this college.

Campus Life

Campus is small as I said earlier but many social events like tedx, orientation are been organised. Clubs are formed like robotics, coding, sports etc. Overall student get involved in extra curricular activities too.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good. Hostel fees are nearly 10500 rs per semester. Internet connection are provided and coming towards mess it's 3600 rs per month with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mess is spacious and hygiene is maintained.

Hostel Fee: INR 10500 per year

Admission

This college is basically skill development college so this one is the main reason. They also help students for development of projects by mainly focusing on labs and projects. The admission will be based on jee mains rank and through diploma lateral entry in direct 2nd year

Faculty

Faculties are very helpful. Exams will be conducted in semester form and we have to pass in both written and practical exam. Written exam will be of 60 marks and practical consist of 30 marks and 10 marks for attendance etc.

Overall review of my college life in VIT Pune

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

All BTech and MTech students can apply for offcampus placement if required but there sufficient oncampus placements and almost all students get placed.Companies visiting for computer and IT are tcs, infosys, capgemini, cognisant, Nvidia, IBM, etc Total 42 offers were made computer branch and 52 offers for IT branch. The percentage of placements is 80%.
