What Students Say

Likes

Very huge campus with lots of trees and fress air.
Zero ragging campus for new comers . Seniors are too good with juniors.
Teachers are too lineant with students and have best teaching technique.

Dislikes

Food is not too good . There is no such seperate section for vegetarian.
Hostel has huge restrictions on students( very heigh fine).
Every year too many students get admissions in the university which make it overcrowded.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is quite decent. I love to code and want to learn different programming language so I decided to do computer engineering. 1st year curriculum should include more programming language and should exclude medical field subjects. 2 exams per semester with moderate difficulty level

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 384000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Deloite, amazon, TCS, Cognizant, give internship opportunity with decent stipend and unofficial internship are also available for students which provide stipend depend on students knowledge. Project based on programming helps students to do various other internships .

Placement Experience

From 3rd year that is from 6th semester we are eligible for campus placement. Many big companies such as amazon , TCS , Wipro, etc. visited for campus placement. Heights package is 63 LPA and average package is 6.5 LPA. High rate of placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

75000 one time payment during admission Then fee structure per semester ~ 192000 tutuon fee 28000 hostel 22000 mess fee and 15000 one time payment for hostel registration. Topper students who topped in kiiteee will get 10000 per month till 4 years

Campus Life

Very very large and greenery campus with different sculptures. One annual tech fest happens every year in the month of Jan - February. Every class has smart board and centralized AC. Sports facility is excellent in kiit. Many society of different fields.

Hostel Facilities

Kiit has provided bucket , mug , matresses , two bed sheets , pillow cover, coffee mug etc. In the room there was one study table and 1 chair for each student. I doesn't like the meal much , there is no such separate section for vegetarian to eat food. After college registration there is hostel registration. Hostel fees is 28000 with 15000 one time payment. There are many PG near kiit like in Patia etc. .

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

Kiit has its own entrance exam called KIITEEE. It has 3 phases . I have given 1st and 2nd phase . 12th passes Students having 60 percentage in pcm are eligible for this exam. In kiit website application form ,fees are published . Difficulty level of exam is moderate . Invigilator should be more strict .

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the third year itself. In this placement season more than 90 percent of the eligible students got placed in several companies. The highest and average are yet not known. Several companies visited the campus with prominent ones being Microsoft, Dell, Xerox, Flipkart and more including several startups. Placement Experience:

I am in my final year and 80% of my classmates including me are already placed. All top MNCs comes to our campus and currently most students are placed in the ranked of 10-20 LPA of CSE branch and top placement was of 52 LPA.

Placement Experience:

So talking about placements then the placement trainings get started from your 5th sem onwards and you will be trained upon diff params and from 7th sem onwards campus drives gets started and around 30 companies visits each year and all the mncs comes for campus drives starting from pwc , Deloitte , accenture to tcs , infosys and ibm . So you will get ample opportunities if you have 60% score in your career

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.
