the courses are nice and the time table also well structured so we get lot of time to do extraa curicular activities. generally the courses involving practical knowlage for them labs are sceuled on that course.the exams are of three catogary quiz, midsem and endsem mis and end sem ocuurs at gap of approx. 2months and this deficulty is prety good, and the course is improving sem by sem as feedback is provided by us.

Amazon, google, Microsoft, PayPal, Arista networks, Texas instruments, Larsen and Toubro ,Mahindra and Mahindra Tata motors, coal India Ltd ,are some of the major recruiters this year.ther are two types of internship in our insitute summer and winter internship.project such as design and development of lightweight sandwich composite panels with impact applications, Development od Indigenouse material, PCM faced active work, textiles and demonstration of commercial scale manufacturing. design, provisions to incorporate amplification in force demands on acceleration, sensitive secondary systems, building irregularities.

After being ranked ninth best engineering institution across India last month by the union Ministry of human resource development, MHRD Indian Institute of technology, IIT Ropar has got another reason to rejoice with a better placement season for BTech students than last year. So far 80.85% of students have been placed with an average package of over 19.85,00,00 rupees per annum., Amazon, Google, Microsoft, PayPal ,Arista networks, Texas instruments, Larsen and Toubro Mahindra and Mahindra, Tata motors ,coal India Ltd, Anglo Eastern ship management steelwedge, Axtria and click labs with some of the major recruiters this year.im planning to do MBA and prepare for cat examination after the degree.approx 80.85% students are placed.higest pakage is around 55LPA.

the grneral fees for btech is 107000 anf if your income is less than 5lakh or 1lakh the you need to pay 46000 and 13000 respectively.complit cost is around 125000per year. Various scholarships are given by the institute including institute, meritcum mean scholarship.to the student to provied them finical aid.over all placement in campus is good and almost all student get placed.

Recreational facilities include gymnasium grounds, equipped for cricket, football, tennis and basketball is very close to Chandigarh in room per IIT Ropar's campus comprises of the main academic block, canteen library, hospital and student living facilities.mess also provieds good quality of food to us and it is also hyginic.

Eligibiloty for this course you are 12th pass woth 75% and above marks,you have pass jee mains and jee advance examinatin.For admition in b.tech course you need to clesr jee main and jee advance paper. aafter clearing jee advance your rank need to among AIR1048 to AIR11813 . your admition proesses is partial done by jossa and you have to come at campus at the time of addmission.the difficulty level of jee mains exam is preety normal like other entarance exams,but level of JEE Advance exam is very much in the tough side, you need to realty eork for that. the overall admissin process id nice and simple.
