Specific aspects for choosing this branch is Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering is the oldest branch in engineering field Tehre areot of job opportunities in this field, this is pure hardware branch , but nowadays the some part of the engineering is included the software part So the students can get the jobs in hardware companies We use the daily home appliances like RV , Fridge,AC, Washing machine , such types of Electronics items , so the job opportunities are high Also the salary is good in this feild

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure Total fees are 96000/- rupees per year Tution fees are 85000 rupees and remaining fees are Development fees Exam fees are 2500 per semester Scholarship available for the different categories of students like EBC ,OBC, SC, ST, VJNT NTC etc EBC and OBC students can apply for the scholarship on MAHADBT Offical portal, which covers the half of tution fees Other category are also apply for the scholarship which is provided by government of Maharashtra And they have to pay only the development fees to the college National Scholarship Portal is also open to students

Annual function of gathering and traditional day is celebrated by students Technical festivals are also organised by college, and various types of prizes are there In College library is available, students can get the educational books from the library, also study rooms are available in library Basic Facilities and technology like classroom, Practical labs, computer labs are provided by college Sports activities offered by college, every department can participate in the sports

Admission

Admission process for the course is starts after the 12 board exam and all entrance exams like the JEE,CET exams Admission is depends on the entrance exam marks only , meritwise list are displayed on the website, students can apply the colleges after the result of entrance exams, admission is cap round through So the government of Maharashtra allot the college to the students For the actual admission students have to visit the college office and confirm the admission with submitting the application form and supporting original documents

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Placement Experience:

We have a great Training and placement cell , they first help for inturnship in 3rd and 4th year and also invites top componies for placements in our collage. 6th or 7th sem students are eligible for placements. 80% studnets among the eligible get placed. I will try to get a dencnt job too.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
