Likes

The faculty member are highly knowledgeable and accessible whenever you need to reach out to them.
The campus boasts a spacious library known as central library.
Academics and discipline, these two things are famious in our college.

Dislikes

The students have to follow 75% attendance rule.
The absence of social festivals in the college.
Exams are very often in every month in a semester.

Course Curriculum Overview

Question 1- I opted for B.Tech because of my lifelong passion for engineering and a desire to explore various career opportunities in fields like research, IT consulting, and software engineering. I believe it's a versatile career path with numerous possibilities. Question 2- The student-to-faculty ratio in theory classes is almost 60-70 stidents per faculty member , while in lab classes, it's around 30-35 students per faculty member. Question 3- The majority of faculty members hold Mtech qualifications, siupplemented by a few experienced professors with PhD degrees. The predominant teaching method involves delivering presentation using smart boards. Question 4- Examination occur frequently, with two term exams and a final university exam each semester, alongside internal and external vivas. Additionally teacher amy conduct class test at their discretion,sometimes monthly.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

To be honest securing interenship is quite challenging here, with opportunities falling short of the demand among student. The number of interenship companies available is very limited, possibly because the college doesn't allocate holiday during the outing period.

Placement Experience

Starting from the 4 year , students become eligible for placement opportunities. A multitude of companies, exceeding 120, visit the campus to recruit from a student cohort of aroung 1000. The average package is of 6 lakh rupees. Placement rates are impressively high, with between 80% to 90%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is straightforward and lacks complexity, consisting of a yearly fee of 142000 rupees for the first year and 119000 rupees for the second year along with an additional 8000 rupees for the university exam fees. Additionally scholarship are available to students from AKTU University.

Campus Life

The campus life is boring emphasizing academicsand discipline. However, it lacks vibrancy and social events, leaving students seeking enjoyement disappointed. College festivals are absent and club recruitement start only in the second year, contributing to the subdued atmosphere. While suitable for those prioritizing studies and structure, individuals desiring a more dynamic experience may find it limiting.

Admission

Akgec is currently accepting application for its B.Tech and MCA programs for the 2024 intake. Prospective candidates can apply through the official websites. B.Tech admission for 2024 will be detemined by JEE Main score. The JEE MAIN(session 2) exam is schduled from April 4 to April 15 2024 with result expected on April 25 2024. Admission to the B.Tech lateral entry program in 2024 will be based on CUET UG score, with registration ongoing untill March 26,2024. The CUET UG 2024 exam will take place from May 15 to May 31 2024. MCA admission to 2024 will be decided on CUET PG 2024 scores, withj the exam schduled from March 11 to March 28 2024. My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Good college for Degrees

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected

The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I chose this college as in previous times it was doing quite good in placements and but now most of the students are unplaced. Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
