Life at CIT

The course curriculum for BE in CSE is highly relevant and comprehensive. Specific aspects, such as programming languages, data structures and algorithms, operating systems and software engineering principles, influenced my decision to choose this course, as they are a foundational for a career in the tech industry. The curicculam adequately prepares students for real-world applications through practical projects, internships and industry collaborations. Areas for improvement include incorporating more hands-on learning opportunities, updating contents on emerging techologies like AI and cybersecurity and enhacing soft skills development

Recently, many companies visited the campus for internship opportunities for students. The companies visited were De shaw, TVS, Akamai, JP Morgan and all with stipend. De shaw offered highest stipend of 1.5 lpa and all others with decent amount.

From end of the 6th semester students are eligible for placements. The companies visited are De shaw, Amazon, Infosys, Techion, zoho, tcs,aqfer and so on Highest package - 54lpa, average package - 8lpa 98% of students were placed in our department. My plan is to get a good job in a top MNCs.

The tuition fee may increase slightly per year. The complete cost for counselling students will be approximately 2,00,000. There are many scholarships available for college students. You can contact scholarship section for further details. Campus employments are greatly available. The highest LPA offered is 54,00,000 per annum by De Shaw.

There will be many clubs events helding regularly. Some of them are nakshatra for freshers, Institute day and some random fun and useful club activities. Books can be accessible via library app of the college and you can also take the books from library. Some classrooms have smart board and projectors and not all the class have this facility. The campus offers diverse range of sports and extracurricular activities catering to various interests and talents. Sports facilities typically include fields for cricket,foodball, basketball, volleyball, handball as well as badminton.

Facilities in the room includes the basic things like fan, study table, chair and night lamp. The meal was not that much good and with a decent menu. During the admission process, register for the hostel in the admission section and the hostel fee for girls is 35,000 per year and the mess bill is separate which should be paid on a monthly basis.

I applied in TNEA official website for my engineering admission. No entrance exam is required and the selection relies on 12th performance on subjects like maths, physics, chemistry. My cut-off is 194.22. Application forms, date, fees are available on the official website ensuring transparency and accessibility. I didn't availed any reservation benefits. If you are eligible then you can avail it. The process lacks the complexity of entrance exams but faces challenges like seat vacancies due to students changing streams post-counselling impacting deserving candidates for those seats. To enhance fairness, measures can be implemented to deter such shifts, ensuring seats are allocated based on merit.
