Entrance Preview

Everyone wants to get a government college. And there are only 4 government colleges in Madhya Pradesh. I opted from top government colleges and by luck, I got this college. I read the reviews about this college on the internet. Collect some good information.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This college syllabus is based on RGPV. Their course is well designed. From basics to advance as you move from lower classes to higher. The courses are designed in such a manner that it not only focusses on the theoretical part but on a overall development. Some courses like entrepreneurship are also included in the syllabus so that On can know the basics of it. Time to time tests and exams help you to be more focused. Regular classes are the key to perform well in an exam. No need for extra coaching classes.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, at the end of 3rd year, you have to complete an internship of 15-30 days for that you have to choose a list of 4 companies where you want to do internship and HOD will decide from where you have to complete it. They give you a letter and you can go to that organization and ca complete your internship. Some of the good companies you can do an internship is BHEL, NTPC, NCL.

Placement Experience

2

There are greener less or you can say no placement for Core branches(mechanical, civil and Electrical Branch). But there are a lot of opportunities for them. They can participate in any BE or B.tech level exams like - GATE, IES etc. For Information Technology and Electronics and communication branch, there are better placement options. Companies like TCS, Infosys, WIPRO come for placements. The annual package varies from 3-3.5 Lakh per annum based on your performance in their tests and personal interviews. But the good thing is you can always take part in open Placements.

College Events

3

Annual function - Once in a year, the date is not fixed cricket Tournament - twice in a year, the date is not fixed Vishwakarma Puja - 17th sept. every year Engineer's Day - 11th December every year Fresher's party - Once in a year, when new student take admission celebrated by 2nd Year students farewell party - Once in a year, for the final year students celebrated by 3rd Year students

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is very low as compare to other engineering colleges. The annual fee of the college is approx 24,000 Indian Rupees. They also provide scholarship as per the MP government rules. The fee is very feasible for the students. You can check the scholarship schemes at MP government portal

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah, there are many scholarship programmes applicable that are offered by MP government for SC/ST, OBC and even for the general category students. I got Vikramaditya scholarship. You can read about the scholarship schemes at the MP government portal

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is very good. The gender ratio is good in all the branches (30-40% Female $ 60-70% Male students) but for mechanical, the ratio is 1: 6 (10-15% female & 85-90% male students). Extracurricular activities like the Annual festival, Cricket tournaments, seminars, workshops always take place at the regular interval of time.

Hostel Facilities

3

The food quality is excellent. In Mess, you will get 3 Meals a day. The hostel is well maintained. Sometimes there is a problem of water scarcity but they do take care for the situations. Excellent sanitary conditions. Abplayground near the hostel. A greenery environment

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful. They help you to settle down there and share their knowledge with you. They make the environment-friendly for you.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is very well- designed. There are 2 or 3 Mid-Semesters you have to give before the main semester exam in every semester. 4-5 Practicals, 1 PPT, 1 group Discussion, 1-2 projects every semester Main semester exam in every semester you have to pass.

Admission

1. Applied for JEE Mains Exam 2. After the declaration of JEE Mains result, I filled a counselling form (this form was available on Online MP Portal) where I have to give my preference of the colleges and my branch where I want to take admission. 3. When counselling result came, I got select for this college. 4. I have to submit the required documents in the office of the college before the prescribed date. 5. Submitted the college fee 6. Joined the college

Faculty

4.5

All faculty is well qualified to do the job. They are always ready to help you. They are very professional and always mentor you to do well in your life. They support you to take part in curricular activities. Most important they complete the syllabus within the prescribed time limit. They help in your projects, help you to decide your professional goals too. If you face any difficulty in any subject you can always ask for extra time and they are ready to help you out. The system is well designed and HOD takes care of all the procedures and workings. They keep on checking the quality and always take the feedback from the students.
