Life at SAIT

The curriculum covers the core of computer science and clears the fundamentals required for the field. Sometimes the curriculum is quiet lengthy to complete in the given semester time slot but mostly it is covered with good understanding.

Internship opportunities are available for students after 2nd year. College offers certification exams at reduced costs or sometimes free of cost for students which help in their resume building. Many on-field activities and trips are organised for different branches.

Campus Drives happen from time to time providing average package of 6 lakhs per annum. From seventh semester students start preparing for their placements through campus drives provided by a variety of companies.

The yearly fee for me was 52000/- and it will remain more or less the same throughout my 4 year program. The bus fee per year is 15000/- for students living in Indore. There was an inital one time fee of 2730/- for admission purposes. The fees for new students who join is 60000/- and will remain same throughout their program. Scholorship is available for SC,ST,OBC.

Different types of events are organised from time to time. Festivals and national days are celebrated along with students. for example their is our yearly college fest Cognoise which spans about a whole week. Their is a TedX event organised which is also a big attraction and learning and growth opportunity.

I am personally interested in computer science as well as VFX and Graphic Design. In SAIT i found both the courses in the same building so i decided to apply for a 1 year diploma in Arena Animation before startng my B.Tech course. It saves time as both courses are in the same building.

The faculty members are experienced in their respective fields. One faculty member teaches a class of around 70 students. They are very approachable any time of the college hours. There are 2, mid semester tests which are fairly easy and 2 internal assessments of practical subjects.

The surroundings are pretty lively even at night. Many students live close by at hostels or PG homes which gives them oppotunity to hang out frequently. Restaurants , tea stalls , snooker clubs, gyms are available close by. College has a canteen as well as Hive- a co-learning space for students to hang-out at.
