College first year infrastructure is very poor, but for the rest 3 years it's infrastructure is very beautifully build

Course Curriculum Overview

The syallabus this college follows is of Rajiv Gandhi University Bhopal. 70 marks theory exam and 30 marks are of project practical and assignment. Syallabus of first year is same for all the branches available in the college

Internships Opportunities

As of now I am in 1st year so doesn't have much knowledge about internship. But I have listened through some seniors and professor about the internship. You can also opt for out of the campus internship, college faculty will give you full support.

Placement Experience

This college has very limited company for placement. For more companies for placement you have to be in top 10% of your batch, college sends these students to Rajiv Gandhi University for the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 24500 per year, for students who get reservation (OBC,st,sc) there are many scholarships available in the college, the scholarship they nearly get is 30000. Which is 5500 more than the fees you paid.

Campus Life

Campus Life is okay side for the first year, as professor dose not allow juniors to meet with senior due to ragging purpose. But from 2nd year campus life is too good, seniors are like your friends etc. also NCC is available.

Admission

In today's world companies are only demanding for the skill full person. They doesn't see their college or the courses they opted for. So their is no benefit of studing in expensive colleges. So I have opted for this college. Also every college has guests in their faculty.

Faculty

There are 8 semester in 4 years, means 2 semester per year, every semester includes 2 mid sem and 1 end sem exam. Every semester has 5 subjects. Also 1 project and practical file per subjects. The exam are of 100 marks in which 30 marks are of project, practical and assignment.

Night Life

For night life there is nothing in the college, except the fest and programs. But the students who opted for hostel has definitely good night life. And college is at mountain top so some drinkers of the village can be near the college at night.

I would to rate the course curriculum at Chameli devi group of institution around 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. They affiliated by Rajiv Gandhi proudyogiki vishwavidyalaya. It builds strong theoretical foundations usefull for competitive exam and higher studies, but industry - oriented skills required. They want to focus on pratical learning. Exams are conducted twice per semester ( mid sem or end sem ) with moderate difficulty.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we can go for internships and apply for placements. The institute stated that highest package was 44LPA and avg is 5.4LPA. I would plan to pursue a higher degree like Mtech or just opt for some job experience.

An overview of life at NMIMS Indore

Placement Experience:

The campus placement has a average package of 6-8 LPA. From 7th sem onwards the students are suppose to enroll in internships and are provided offer letter for recruitment if fulfills the requirements. There are various companies that are welcomed by NMIMS every year, it included TCS, INFOSYS, HCL, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA and etc. facilities state that there have been cases of companies offering more than 30 LPA but student could not crack it. Moreover from past 6 months there have been a change in the college where there has been tremendous focus on placement preparation where the respected associate dean and many other faculties provide different insights and tasks for placement preparation. I dont have the stats of highest LPA or so, my plans after getting the degree is to seek on campus placement.

I don't know accurate but I got words from seniors after the 6th semester you are eligible for job placements in companies like Wipro, Cogni, and all other companies that visited the campus. My plan is not particularly taking for placement. I will choose my own option.

Know before you go.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year campus placements begin. Tata consultancy and various mass recruiters visit the college. I'm not so sure about it but product based companies visit too. Highest package was around 24 lacs per annum and average, I guess, is around 6 lacs/ annum. A lot of students get placements through college campus placements. We have training and placements department which starts working on students from the very starting to make them eligible for placements. The placements ratio is good so far. I'm not into private sector so I don't have any plans for college placements afterwards.

Admission:

I got admission in college thourough Jee Mains Examination. First I appeared in Jee Mains Examination Then after the result of Jee Mains Examination I registered on mp online and gone thourough its counseling process by choice filling of college. After counseling we have to go to college for further admission process.

You have to attempt JEE mains for taking admission here or in any government college. and after that you have to attend mpdte counseling process. The cut-off is very less in this college if you are having 65+ (for OBC & GEN) and 40+ (ST and SC) you can easily get IT branch and if you are having 40+ (all categories) you can get any other branches....Read More
