- The main thing i like in nit calicut the placements program. almost 70% of the students get job via campus placements
- I like the revise curriculum which enable the students ti explore deeper in to their opted course
- I like the variety of fest and events that are conducted almost every month .
Dislikes
- there are a ton of stray cat and dogs which has ssome kind of disease which are left untreated and left starved
- there is a lot of academic pressure and tension
- the curfew timings were reduced to 11:30pm

it depends on various factors like various programs, faculty expertise and internships. nit calicut aims to provide high-quality technical education that equips students with the required knowledge. faculty members periodically review and update the curriculum according to the technical advancements.
Internships Opportunities
some comapnies provide summer internships for the studenst during the acdemic break. it ranges from few week to couple of months. nit caicut has partnership with various companies and reasearch institutes which provides students with mentorship,and training and proffesional developments
Placement Experience
nit calicut has a dedicated placements cell that works with the studenstand companies for placements. these cells train the students for interview and resume writing and onnects the students with potentioal employers.many companies like multinational companies,start ups etc... conduct the campus placements. eg: google and qualcom
Fees and Financial Aid
tution fees for the undergraduate course is usually around 125000 rs per yr. we are also supposed to pay additional fees like registration fees,examination fees and hostel fees.some students belonging to economicaly backwards groups like obc,ewc,st,sc gets reservation and fees for them is less
Campus Life
the campus life is fun. not calicut has a diverse students body with students coming from all over india.campus also hosts variety of cultural evenst and fest. tathva and raagam ,which is the technical and cultural fest of nitc is the largest fest in south inda..
Hostel Facilities
nit calicut is a residential college which has an on campus hostels. 1st year btech students usually get room with 4 or 2 ppl in it. the hostel room are big enough for the students to be comfortable . each students get their own tables for studying and a cupboadrd. the mess food is also delicious and include variety of healthy food options . they non veg options almost everyday.
Admission
The admission process is very similar to any other technical institute in the country. we have to fill out the online application form given on the college's website. along with this application, we have to bring other scanned documents like an Adhar card, class 10th and 12th scorecard, passport-size photograph etc
