All the topics taught in class are help to compete with others in competative exams, Frequent use of projector present in the class can help student visualise and understand the topic better and well. Placement Experience

2.5

Placements as of now is in bad condition due to recent recession but the institute is very supportive in case of opting for higher studies, MTech course and MBA courses are available with sufficient seats. almost 60% of the students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is exampted for home state student, though this may sound nice but it dosen't matter much to BS+MS students because irrespective of category we are in, we all need to pay 12000 per semester. And Btech Students close to 8000 per semester, so, you can say its cheap. But BTMT course is costly as they are doing Btech and Mtech integrated couse, the fee for it is close to 40000 per semester. And yes, we get scholarship every that can cover the cost of semester registration. And Gate Qualified students get 12200 stiphend per month in their Mtech couse for 2 years. Campus placement happens thoughout the year, specially after the exams and most of the students starts to prepare for it from 3rd years onwards.

Campus Life

3.5

National Institute of Technology, Agartala is very rich in dance and cultural event, it goes on thorugh out the year, recently Tech Fest is held, there some of the motivational speakers come like Ashneer Grover and Dr. Vijender Chauhan visited to share their experience and speech, there was also Moksha event, where anime cosplay was held and many other cultural shows. So all in all social groups, clubs are all very active and its a very fun campus life. Classrooms, Library, access to many journal and publication are available for students to help them grow both in career and studies.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel rent in total every semester is 30000 (everything included) there are five type of mess, namely: southern mess, nothern mess, eastern mess, veg mess and 1st year mess for boys and one common mess for girls (both veg and non-veg) meal quality is not that good, just like you expect from every other typical hostel. the rooms and other facilities are top class. Registration is all processed through online and priority is given to outside of state students first and their stay is gurantee. local rental room and PG are also available but its hard to find because its mandatory to stay hostel for outside state students. Exception can be made.

Admission

Students those have cleared JEE Main exam and have more than 65% in class 12th or equavalent marks can opt for this institute, everything is processed though online. Through JOSAA we select seats in different branches and there are special round after counsiling to get in to desired branch in case student didn't get in the first round of counsiling. ST students get the benifits of reserve seat in diffrient branches. Every After two months Mid term exam is counducted and After 5 months End term exam is conducted. Improvements in Data transfer rate AKA internet speed is very slow.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Generally, a well-designed computer science curriculum should be both relevant and comprehensive to prepare students for fields like backend development. Here’s a breakdown of how curricula usually perform on these fronts: 1. Relevance Core Skills: Most programs do a good job of covering foundational topics like Data Structures, Algorithms, and Database Management, which are highly relevant for backend development. These areas are essential for understanding how to structure and optimize backend systems. Industry-Relevant Topics: More relevant curricula incorporate trending backend technologies like microservices, cloud computing, and DevOps practices. Programs that include these topics, especially through practical labs or elective courses, stand out as highly relevant. Coding and Project Work: Backend development requires hands-on coding, so a curriculum that includes project-based learning or capstone projects is particularly beneficial. Courses that mandate building real-world applications offer direct, practical relevance. 2. Comprehensiveness Coverage of Backend Ecosystem: A comprehensive backend development curriculum covers everything from programming languages and databases to architecture (monolithic vs. microservices) and software engineering principles. Topics such as API development, RESTful services, and security should ideally be included. Advanced Topics: Some curricula may offer specialized courses in distributed systems, scalability, or performance tuning, which add depth to backend education. Programs that offer elective depth in these areas tend to be more comprehensive. Breadth Across Technologies: While depth is crucial, backend development also benefits from exposure to diverse technology stacks (e.g., Node.js, Java Spring Boot, .NET Core). A curriculum offering a range of technologies is more comprehensive and prepares students for various industry demands. 3. What Could Be Improved? Practical Skills Integration: Some curricula st
