Likes

Big campus, Full of greenary, Good library facilities
There so many students from various parts of India, so we can mingle with their culture.
Food and accommodation is also good and affordable

Dislikes

Lab facilities are a bit week comparing to other research institutes
More than half of the faculties are good but some are not better
Maintanence inside the campus is not done properly

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I am intrested in pure science and research.The faculties here includes average to good. Most of the faculties are Phd holders. Faculty student ratio is around 1:50. There will be two term exams, one mid sem and one end sem.

Internships Opportunities

I am not aware of the internship oppertunities in the campus.So many students are going to do internship in various institutes inside India. So many companies are providing both paid and non paid internships and projects.

Placement Experience

The campus is providing placements after seventh semester onwards. And also students can sit in off campus placements. There are so many companies visiting here including Texas, Google, Bharat petroleum, Polaris, Infosys, Indian oil, Tata etc.The highest package given from here is 52 lpa and average is 10 lpa.My plan after getting degree is to go for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware about the fees hike policy , for me in first year it cost around 55000 rupees total per year for mess, hostel including institute fee. I don't have any stipend. I think there is schoolarships but the portal is not opened yet. If we need any financial assistance, then we can take education loan from banks. Bank services are also there in the campus

Campus Life

There are so many cultural fests here including Moksha, Dandia etc. Tech fests are also there. In this academic year moksha will be conducted on January. It is the biggest fest in the campus. There is a big modern library having a capacity of more tha 5000 books. Classrooms are different in different blocks. For sports there is a big sports complex inside the campus. There are so many social clubs like DCC, NLC, We Can etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are pretty good. For first two years it is double sharing room, after 2 year we get single rooms. Rooms are Non Ac.Food in the mess is also good. Hostel registration was very easy during the admission and it is also affordable.

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

Admission

I got admission through JEE 2023. Application for session 1 of 2024 ended. For session 2 application starts from February. There is reservation for Categories like EWS,OBC,SC,ST. The details of reservation will be there in the NTA website.

because i love chemistry , so the instinct i got the seat in nit agaratal in bs ms chemistry i decided to come and join. the placements percentage are quite high . there are 2 semesters in one academic year and in between 4 exams will be there .

A best college life

Placement Experience:

My plans for getting degree from here I don't want to do any jobs I have to do something different. There are many companies who visites here like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Adobe etc. Here Placement ratio is around 95%

Campus life and placements in NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placement. More than 150 companies visited our campus for placement and also approx 80percent students get their job. Companies visiting our campus are Microsoft, L&T, TCS etc. My plant after getting degree is I will go for research.

i choose this collage because this collage is in my home state, and for me going somewhere else, out of stste will be a problem finencially. Comprehensive curriculum with practical exposure

As this is the institute of national importance it has many pros I chose because the infrastructure is very good than other colleges and the main reason I prefer this college because of the placement percentage in my department that is very good like 93 percent placement every year as the average package is around 7 lpa that because the in the core fields the sallary growth is slow not that much as freshers . My life at nit Agartala

Honestly, I chose NIT Agartala mainly because it’s one of the prestigious NITs of India, and being in an NIT itself carries good recognition, both for placements and further studies. When I was applying, I had options of a few state government/private engineering colleges. I compared them on different parameters: Reputation & Ranking: NIT Agartala, even though it’s not in the top 5 NITs, is still way ahead of most private colleges in terms of recognition and national ranking. Placements: The placement statistics here are stronger, especially in CSE, ECE, Mechanical etc., compared to private colleges I had applied to where the average packages were lower.
