Course Curriculum Overview

CBI curriculum which is the new curriculum introduced by the NMC has been very good for mbbs students because it takes of the pressure from our heads and it lets us work on our clinicals as well. The exams are taken in a great manner which helps us improve our knowledge

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 58000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In MBBS every college has to provide internship because MBBS is a 5.5 years.course so we have to do one year of internship and we are given a stipend which varies from one state to another. In internship we are supposed to practice our clinicals

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is normal and affordable and reservation students also get a reduction in the fees and free books for all the years which is a great feature. Scholarships are also provided here in our college

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome as well because we have a lot of events and fests in our hostel as well as college. We participate in a good way as well which makes it even fun to be in and helps us to get away from our daily stressful lives

Hostel Facilities

In room almost all facilities are provided and the food is manageable as I'm a north Indian who is living in South India but yes it was easy to adjust for me. Registration policy is easy as well and then the staff is also nice

Admission

I took the neet exam and I got into HIMS HASSAN and after that it has been amazing for me and the admission process was greatly done and the fees is also affordable. Exams are taken frequently which is great for testing how much you know

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

One of the best medical college in Karnataka

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I liked Biology very much in my 11th and 12th and I also wanted to be a doctor since my childhood. Faculty:student ratio in this college is well maintained. There is 1 faculty member over 25 students. All the faculty are well qualified and experts in their fields. Some of the professors are functioning as scientists for the university and have reserved some patents for their researches. The teaching methodology is also very good and according to the latest norms set by the university. Every year you have to go through some college-level exams ( Internal Assessment) three times. And you must score at least 50% as aggregate in each subject to be eligible to give the final University Exams. All the exams taken are as per the latest Revised Scheme for evaluation set by the university. On average the difficulty of exams is high. Regular studies and consistency can make anyone pass the exams .

Good college with a good infrastructure and facilities but college doesn't have any canteen, students should go to hospital canteen in case. There are two hospitals in this campus. One is super speciality hospital and the other is general hospital.

To get into HIMS,you may need to secure a rank around 20000-23000 in NEET exam. You will need a eligibility certificate provided by RGUHS, payment around 2000/-. Application form will be provided by the college itself.there are no charges for application.
