Course Curriculum Overview

3

The possible outcome of your first year will be,you lying on a bed completely empty from inside. Reason for this conditions will be as follows:- Professors will make you work your ass up. The number of assignment you will make in a year will stack to half a meter. There are no cultural activities like other medical Colleges.A few politicians will come here and there in some functions. There is no proper arrangements regarding the Sports, food, clubs. Professors are honest with their duty, they will definitely make a doctor here. The term exams occur every 3 months,Easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship is provided in the same hospital by the RGUHS , stipend of 30000 per month which hikes by 1000 each year. usually helpful in developing skills that are necessary for clinical practice. As far as I have heard it's better than most prestigious college of India.

Fees and Financial Aid

Each year tution fee increases by 5% or so.I don't know much about the policy but it's a trend I have seen. Cost of education would be around 580000 including hostel fees. Scholarships are provided by RGUHS to state quota students and for AIQ students you can apply for multiple scholarship such as FFE( first year around January) , or refer to buddy4study for more scholarship s

Campus Life

2.5

Name of the fest that occur once a year in August or September is AIKYA , usually the name changes . It's just a bunch of competition held between 4 teams divided by auction by 3rd year students. Library remain open till 10 pm and books can be borrowed from library for study but not allowed to take outside of library. Classrooms are advanced and well equipped ( no AC, not even necessary) Sports activities are frequent in the college.

Hostel Facilities

2

Each month hostel bill cost around 4k which can be prolonged to 6 months but penalty will high , which is usually signed off by the warden if a beleiveble reason is presented in front of him. 15000/- is the security deposit which is refundable.

Admission

To get into HIMS,you may need to secure a rank around 20000-23000 in NEET exam. You will need a eligibility certificate provided by RGUHS, payment around 2000/-. Application form will be provided by the college itself.there are no charges for application. Just reach out to the college without any delay and there will a bond scripted by a advocate of their own choice (the college staff is a greedy one) Overall you will be guided throughly by the admission officer. If you are interested in a student loan ,you may ask for the estimated fee structure to them .you will require it for a education loan.

Faculty

3.5

For 150 students which are divided into 4 batches for each batch a single professor is appointed, kind of. Professor look skilled and do their duty with utmost honesty, while some of them can be bribed for your own benefit but not all. Professor are easy to approach and remain calm during the whole session.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I liked Biology very much in my 11th and 12th and I also wanted to be a doctor since my childhood. Faculty:student ratio in this college is well maintained. There is 1 faculty member over 25 students. All the faculty are well qualified and experts in their fields. Some of the professors are functioning as scientists for the university and have reserved some patents for their researches. The teaching methodology is also very good and according to the latest norms set by the university. Every year you have to go through some college-level exams ( Internal Assessment) three times. And you must score at least 50% as aggregate in each subject to be eligible to give the final University Exams. All the exams taken are as per the latest Revised Scheme for evaluation set by the university. On average the difficulty of exams is high. Regular studies and consistency can make anyone pass the exams .
