IITG, a place to live your dreams

As my branch was chemical engineering so I choosed to take chemical engineering specialization in material science. I worte GATE chemical engineering (CH). Well curriculum is up to date in every aspect every year elective courses are added as per industry trends. As of now I don't feel any changes required for the improvement. Everything is upto date as per industry requirement. Two main exams I.e mid semester and end semester. Mid semester is of 2 hours and end semester is of 3 hours

As I was mtech student to I was not able to get enough time to get internship. But btech students usually get internship in their 3 year. People ho got the internship has to do in summer vacation duration depends upon the company and project also. Students also got pre placement offers during internship.

For btech students they get eligible for placement in 7 semester for mtech 3 semester I was shortlisted in 3 company SCA technologies, IOD solution and raspa pharma. I got offer from IOG solution. Highest package domestic was 1cr and international was 2.4 cr for this placement 2023-24 season. Till. This time 70% of the students got placed. Out of 1200 students. My plans is to join the job.

Overall per semester the fees for mtech students is 37000 including hostel, mess and tution fees and all there charged included. Specific hostel is 6000, mess fees is 19000. Tution fees is 5000 and other miscellaneous fees for extracurricular activities. College placement are good here. I got the job this year 2023-24 placement season

There are so many fest here in IIT. Main fest are like alcheringa north east as well as IITG biggest culture fest. Techniche biggest technical fest. Spardha IITs sports fest. IITG has the biggest library with all most all Indian as well as foreign author books in every domain and department are present. Faculties are very good and equipped will latest knowledge. There are separate clubs for each sports with a trainer and a sports complex with has almost all indoor and outdoor sports. All the clubs are run by studies with the help of itg faculty coordinator. Dance club, sports club, coding club, consulting and analytics club.

Hostel room are good with Lan internet, table chair some hostel have balcony, rooms are spacious. Hostel food is very good you'll get morning breakfast, lunch and dinner with variety of food everyday. For hostel if you are btech, mtech or phd student you will get hostel by submitting the college fees. If you are enrolled to above course hostel ans mess is is included in the fees and everyone gets hostel here.

For mtech admission on has to write GATE exam in their respect branches. Application forms are released by IITs every year in month of October. Fees for general is 1800 rupees As per government reservation Morning and afternoon shifts. Exam is of 3 hours Difficulty level is unpredictable but yes it depends upon IITs.
