Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is fully based on problem solving statements. It prepares us to face the real world applications such as building UAVs and learning to design aircraft. It also deals with selection of materials and their structures. More improvement could be done by increasing the amount of interaction with practical insights. Exams are based on understanding and implementing.

Class Size: 10Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are based on our need. The availability of internships are also very high and it is up to us whether or not we get it through the college or go outside by our own interests. Internships come with an average stipend.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placements when they are gained the proper skills for their required jobs. It isn't very specific as to which year you get placed. The percentage of students getting the placement is someone who has a good CGPA percentage of 8 to 10

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for this course is pretty much an average of 70-80k per year. There are scholarships based on the percentage of marks gained by a student during a year. The fee structure is different for different courses as they would include or may not include laboratory classes

Campus Life

The campus is a very beautiful place to explore and learn things if used properly. There's a wide range of availability of books in the college library along with small libraries in the department. Every year they conduct a 3 day college cultural event which also includes technical workshops. There are a lot of clubs and forums that help you gain knowledge in not only the courses that you study but also knowledge in other streams based on your interst

Hostel Facilities

It is a 4-sharing room which includes cupboards, a cot, a study table. Food provided is also very good and hygienic as well. The registration process is too simple as it only includes filling the form with proper details and paying the required fee.

Hostel Fee: INR 95000 per year

Admission

The admission process was based on government counseling (TNEA). It was according to the cut off and general reservation. After the selection of college, the admission process was about filling forms with proper details and creating a profile as the college student.

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

I chose this college because the first reason is it was near to my home. The travel distance was less. And the placements offered by this college was awesome.
