Likes

I like the football court and the basketball court.
The food court and snacks cart is also my favorite
The library and study hubs for students are also good

Dislikes

Washroom outside are not clean and some restrooms doesn't provide sanitary pads
Dayscholar girls aren't allowed to sit in the waiting room outside the girls hostel

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I chose is artificial intelligence and data science. Academically supportive staffs and futuristic approach towards this course by them influenced me. Cohorts and specialisations are present for students to excel in skills.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 2400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Amazon, Roché, Infosys, Jo Morgan are companies that come for placements. Internships is provided by ARK solutions. Hackathons and projects are suggested by staffs and also by teaming along with the seniors in clubs and forums.

Placement Experience

Internships with stipend are provided by the sixth semester. Campus placements begin in the same semester, and by the seventh semester students are provided opportunities. The highest package was 12 LPA. Companies like Roch, Amazon, Infosys, and JP Morgan. Also, students in cohorts provided can have specialized job opportunities based on their field of interest.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee structure is reasonable for students through government counseling. The tuition fee is affordable. Scholarships for women are also provided. Mahatma Gandhi scholarships of rs. 10,000 was provided this year.

Campus Life

South india's biggest tech festival is conducted in our college every year. Dance culturals are annually done. Clubs also conduct frequent workshops and competitions. Clubs are wholly coordinated by the students itself, making it more sociable.

Admission

I got through government counseling. I preferred this course and college primarily in my counselling choice list. The admission process was sequential and easy to follow.Once I got the admission, my official student mail id and other formalities where done quick. There was no entrance examination for students admitted through counseling.

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

Kumaraguru - A wonderful journey

A green campus with welcoming nature for all students.

I chose this college because the first reason is it was near to my home. The travel distance was less. And the placements offered by this college was awesome.
