Course Curriculum Overview

I was very interested in mechanical course since my higher secondary studies.so with out any second thoughts I choose mechanical engineering.also this course provides various job opportunities in abroad as well.

Internships Opportunities

The college provide several internship opportunities by sixth semester.and I don't know more about the internship areas because I am in first semester.i will know more about this area when I am in sixth or sventh semester

Placement Experience

My college provide somany placement opportunities starting by sixth semester.several companies like L&T are providing job interviews.the placement for mechanical branch is very less compared to other branches

Fees and Financial Aid

It's a government college, obviously the fee will be less compared to other private colleges.the college fee is about 10 thousand per year.its very affordable for every student.and college provide somany scholarships

Campus Life

The college provide somany tech fests and parties and celebrations.we conducted national techfest called invento in last semester.also we celebrated so may days like holy,iftar and lot of thers .also we celebrated Christmas

Hostel Facilities

I got a hostel which I can afford.hostel fee is around 60000 per year.and the meal and other food is pretty average compared to other foods.i didn't got in men's hostel because of the distance matter .

Admission

I got admission in this college via kerala entrance exam. And the cut off rank for mechanical engineering was around 27 thousand and I got 25 thousand in my entrance exam so the admission process was very smooth

The average package offered is 100000-200000 per year and more than 10 companies visit per year. About 80 percentage of students are getting placed though campus placement. Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement after their 6th semester. Companies such as Tata ,TCS , ola , ather, ISRO visited our college for campus placement The average package offerdies 3 or 4 lakh per annum. The highest package at offer the tower college way up to 30 lakhs per annum If you are willing to sit for the placements many of the students could easily get placement about 80% My plans after getting degree is either doing some job and gaining some work experience for planning to go for higher studies

So when we consider curriculum, I was in 2015 KTU curriculum and it was not that much updated with current technology. But after there was 2019 KTU curriculum which is more adapted with current technology are better. So curriculum not only will help us to obtain real life experience, so they will need us to complete extra curricular activities which is need 100 points mandatory for course completion is there , so considering that it is a good thing. You need to do intership, courses etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to really enhance my programming skills due to which I planned to enrol for this course. The curriculum does not manage to prepare you for real world applications as most of the time they include just the most basic of examples. I wish they would take some input from students too in the curriculum creation. The internals are conducted twice in a semester along with an end semester exam. The exams are usually easy to moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

From S6 onwards students will be able to sit in placements drive. In my college the placement is just OK. Many companies visited and above 100 offers were made. Highest package was of 14 Lakh per annum, average package is about 4-5 lakh per annum. Students placed are above 50% in CS and IT department. I plan for both work and higher studies

I have a crazy about computers,codes and many more that's why I like more computer related course and some good coding skills are necessary if you plan to move along the course.the time period of exam are very short if an exam pass by and next exam would be happening the coming 2nd week it's very hard to improve in that short period
