- Bad connectivity of tezpur city from rest of india is a huge challenge I face

Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good with plenty of open elective options in a semester there are 4 exams 2 sessional exams 1 mid sem exam and one end sem exam Sessions are of 25 marks and mid and end sem are 40 and 60 marks respectively
Placement Experience
The placement is good with enough companies coming for on campus placement with 4-5 lakhs per annum the internships is also easily available for financial stability 60 to 70 percent people get placed with average packages
Fees and Financial Aid
Per semester fees for btech is rupees 26943 including hostel fees which is 3500 per semester and additional mess charges are applicable which 2500 per month The university provides plenty of scholarship also we can avail government scholarship
Campus Life
The campus is very peaceful with plenty of greenery and very polite professors it focuses on traditional inheritance it is LGBTQ friendly with excellent sports facilities including basketball courts football field swimming pool badminton indoor court gym etc
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is good with 2 seater rooms 2 table a bed 2 chair and 2 wardrobe and a shared open storage area plus the food is better than other colleges nearby plus the administration is much strict on ragging
Admission
Tezpur University takes JEE mains examination for admission with 60 percent marks in high secondary we have to fill a form for northeast quota reservation and other state students can take from JOSSA the minimum percentile for general can range from 75 to 80
