Course Curriculum Overview
The course is really based on practical knowledge based and soft skills oriented. It really prepares for competitive exams and also prepares for the placement exams. The exam level are also moderate level.
Internships Opportunities
Most of the companies like L&T, RDC, IGGL give GET role here . Also some companies like POWERGRID give assistant executive engineer post for its recruitment . Average salary is 6-7 lpa. Some companies do offer high package but its less in percentage.
Placement Experience
Companies like L&T, OIL, IGGL, RDC, BEL, AMAZON, ITC LIMITED, ITC INFOTECH, DALMIA, ALSTOM, TCS, CDAC, KECINTERNATIONAL, etc comes here for campus recruitment and internships. On an average 20- 30 % students gets placement from a particular department.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee structure is around 2.5 lakhs( including hostel and mess fess ). The scholarship is also available depending on different annual family income. The campus placement is good here. Companies like L&T, RDC, BEL, OIL, IGGL, AMAZON, TCS, ITC LIMITED, DALMIA, ITC INFOTECH. Comes here for recuitment.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good here. Different clubs like NSS, NCC, IEEE, Robotics , dance , Music clubs are there. Various events and programmes are held for student welfare benefits. The sports facilities are also very good here.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is pretty good with plenty facilities like Common Room, Guest Rooms, Mess, Common Area, Volley Ball and Badminton Courts etc,. Several programmes and events are organized for student welfare time to time.
Admission
The admission process is through JEE mains and also TUEE . Eligibilty is that you need to pass 12 th with 75 % . There is 2 way to get admission here. One way is to give jeemains and then you jossa or csab counselling you can can opt for this college. The other method is TUEE where you need to give entrance exam of TU ,based on the marks scored you will be selected. There is reservation facilities which comes under central guidelines. There is also north east reservation in this college. Here 4 exams are taken in the semester, 2 sessional tests , midterm and endterm. The difficulty level depends on the department. On an average , the difficulty level is moderate
