Fees is too high. Where government polytechnic college charge 4000-5000 it's charged around 80k -90k
Placement are not got, campusing are below average

Course Curriculum Overview

After 10th I wanted to learn to engineer so I pursued a diploma. My future plan is to do btech after and a job in a good company. It may government sector or private sector. My preference is also the Indian railway. But one main people thought a diploma is easy but actually, it's is not

The total fees of the college including tution fees, service fees and many others it's around 70,000-80,000 There three types of Scholarships are first time is for every student who scored more than 60 per cent in 10th or 12th. 2nd one is for backward caste and the last one is for minorities Campusing is below average for a diploma but good for Btech

Campus Life

The annual fest is named Magnus, which is held every year mainly in the month of February Nearly 2-3 events or seminars occur in each month The college has its own cricket, football, and tennis team. And have separate fields for practice.

Eligibility criteria are education qualification is either 10 passes or 10 + 2 The application form is can only be found on the official website of WBSCTC, registration form fillup fee 100 rupees and for a reservation it's free Seat is also reserved for SC, OBC, ST 2 semesters occur in a year, Each semester has one external exam and two internal exams

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Placement Experience:

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

After the 5th Semester apparently companies start interviewing students. I am going through campusing right now. I have been selected by Aurora for further interviewing. Highest package is of Jindal around 17k and average package is 11k with accommodations. 85-90% students get placement. I am planning for higher study completing B.tech after getting the degree.
