REVIEW OF NIT RAIPUR -BY ROHIT????

My course in Nit Raipur is the Chemical Engineering.It is one of the best course which has best placement rate after the CSE and ECE branches.This have a placement percentage of 98%.The curriculum prepares well for the real world applications.It consists of practical sessions.In that u can learn a lot of practical knowledge.Some areas in the course curriculum which has to be improved are to reduce the timings and set it to proper.Apart from this remaining are good.The frequency and timings of exams are there are 2 semesters in a year. One sem consists of 1 mid exams and end exams.

The placements of the college is excellent.It is the best college according to placement wise.From the 7th semester u will be eligible for the placements.There will be a definite placement in this college with an average package of 14 lakh per annum.There will be a 150 companies are visiting and offering 120 for one branch.In every branch there is a min 97% placement record is there. If u didn't get the campus placement u can even find a better job outside with your Nit certificate.

The tution fee is 70,000 per semester.This tution fee will be increased year by year.The complete cost of the education including tution fees and all other fees is approximately 10 lakhs for four years.There are some scholarships which are there like NSP,FFE,etc...This scholarship will be given according to their eligibilities.There will be a financial assistance from the college if you have an income of below one lakh or five lakhs or if u are sc,st.campus placement, stipends will be awarded to u from 3rd year of your course.

The college facilities are too good consists of largest fests Eclectika and avartan.There will be clubs of every group and committee also.The college will consist of every socio activities.Ther will be a digi library facilities also

Hostel facilities are good.This nit will have a small hostel problem.There are not hostels for every student.In first year if u are from outside of chattisgarh then u will get hostel accordingly mains rank.From 2nd year u will get hostel through merit list of CPI of semester.The meals are good but don't expect much.The registration process will be done at the time of course registration only.if u want to take rented rooms near to college,then kota,DDU,Amanaka are the good places to take a room.

The admission in to this college will be taken through the entrance exam JEE-MAINS.If u qualify this exam and got a good percentile and rank nearly 96-97 percentile then through the jossa councelling process.The exam fees is 1000INR.U can find this exam application at www.jeemain nta.com.There are some reservation benifits for EWS,OBC,SC,ST.The exam will be conducted twice in a year,once during end of January and other is at the start of April.The examination difficulty level is very high.The students who are giving this exam will face much competition.It is not like the board exams.The students has to take some coaching to attempt or to qualify the exams . The cutoff for the exam is around 90 percentile every year.It changes according to the no of students appeared.After getting a seat in the college,the admission process will be very fast and the time duration is very low .U have to apply all the documents in a few days only.This will be a part I don't like in the admission process .
