Entrance Preview
There was a minimum cut-off 88% CBSE percentage in order to apply for the entrance examination for English hons at Lady Shri Ram College (LSR). Further, some 80 students were shortlisted for the interview, based on ranking in the written entrance examination. Roughly, the top 40 students from the interview made it to the final list.

LSR English department does need some more work in helping place their graduates with various organizations.
College Events
The annual cultural festival tarang was a much awaited festival on campus apart from that there were various other festivals for individual departments, societies and so on. Overall, LSR has a spectacular sderies of festivals.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very reasonable from 2006-2009, it was around 9,000 rupees a year.
Campus Life
There was considerable exposure to various extracurricular activities. LSR made quite an effort to generate awareness about gender roles, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, class structures and so on.
Hostel Facilities
Although I did not personally stay in the hostel, I thought it was very reasonable the food and amenities were good too.
Alumni/Alumna
I think LSR needs to ramp up its effort to connect alumni i do not know of any particular organization/database to help college alumni stay connected.
Exam Structure
The exams were two tiered- internal exams accounted for 20% of the final scores and the university-wide external exams accounted for 80% of the final scores the structure was pretty laid back, which meant that students had to study only twice an year we d
Faculty
The faculty was top class, and challenged us to learn and push our curiosity i was very happy with the organization of the courses, electives, internal as well as external examination, and the resources available in the library.
