Alcheringa is the annual cultural fest of IITG which is held for 3 days around the month of February-March students can enjoy various cultural programs and three concert nights also they can also enjoy various tech-based events in the annual tech fest Techniche. The library is equipped with all the books the students need to excel in their knowledge. The campus also has to offer various extracurricular and sports clubs to help the student discover their talents other than academics

The rooms are equipped with every facility a student requires each room has LAN connections fan beds study tables and cupboards. The meal is provided in the hostel mess charges of the mess are included in fees and they provide a healthy meal for the students.
