A clear review of iit Guwahati

I personally like electronics and curriculum is not that good, outdated.the curriculum is outdated so it doesn't make you ready for real world. You have to work on your own for it.I feel curriculum should be updated and focus on core subjects rather than math physics kind of thing . The curriculum should be updated for modern world. Exams are quite frequent a sem exam in 2 monthsa quiz in between them and before.

Tution Fees at indian institute of technology, Guwahati is 1Lakh per semester . That means 2 lakh per annum.this is for general students (i belong). For ews and obc they get concessions under some conditions.the hostel and mess fees is 43,200 per semester , payable for every semester. 20k is one time fee at time of admission.I haven't got any scholarships. Merit cum means scholarship is there in institute if I'm in class top 25 percentage

There are a quite good number of events here, for every occasion.and alcheringa (in around February)the biggest event is there.there is almost every book in central library,in every genre.not just on academics.classroom has every facility, projectors(2) , black board and good, comfortable chairs to sit . Every social group is run by students ade they are for students

Facilities provided in room are bed, balcony, stand for mosquito net, cupboard and a table.meal is bad and menu includes aalo everyday. Registration process is done online and verified offline.hostel and room allotment is done before we visit.

I came through josaa i applied for iith ee, i didn't get that so I choosed this. My rank is not sufficient to get admission there. Josaa councelling is admission process of my college. The josaa consider jee advanced rank for seat allotment

Faculty to student ratio is 1:19. Faculty relationship with students is good in most of cases.they are approachable. I like every faculty here ,i feel all are good. 2 semesters are there for every year. In one sem, 2 quizes around 8 tutorials and mid sem , end sem exams are there for every subject. No of subjects is 5. 2 labs are there every week. 2 lab exams

No .the written test is there ,it is jee advanced, which most of you might have known. They take some people from sports quota.I have prepared a lot to give jee advanced. You have to qualify jee mains for this

Gym is op en as normal gym timings. cafeteria is 24/7.library closes at 2 am .Hostel closes at 12 pm and campus at 10 pm . Campus view point,lakes ,khokha are good hangout places. Sports facilities available from 5am to 10 pm
