Likes

The campus is vibrant with different states of students and their mindsets.
The weather at IIT madras is so good .it has a wide variety of wildlife like deer ,monkeys and so many.
The professors provide a full time guidance to the students who really need their help and support.

Dislikes

some times i feel like students are facing work pressure and stress.
The infrastructure at IIT madras can still be improved by redesigning the departments.
These days the campus facing bad weather conditions due to summer.

the computer science curriculum at IIT madras is comprehensive ,blending foundational theory with modern applications,its highly relevant , equipping students with industry ready skills and innovative reasearch perspectives. faculty is qualified and also teach well.

the tution fees at iit madras computer science department for a 4 year program range from inr 8-10 lakhs ,scholarships like merit cum means and institute sc/st/pwd are available ,campus jobs, like teaching assistants offers stipends arruond inr 12,000 per month

Campus Life

At iit madras campus life was vibrant with "sarang" in january and "shaarstra" in september .the library offered extensive resources ,class rooms and diverse sports /extra curricuulars werw available student clubs and portals boosted social interactions and comunity spirit.

Hostel Facilities

I rented a room near iit madras ,facilities included a bed,study table and wifi . meal quality is satisfactory with a varied menu . hostel regerstration was straight forward. the locality was safe and convenient for students

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

for iits and nits ,scoring well in jee main or advanced in crucial. the application process is entirely online ,and students must also qualify through josaa councling . reservation benfits are available ,the entrance exam is challenging ,a more transperent councling system would enhance the admission process

Your Concise review and guide to nit trichy

Placement Experience:

The students start sitting for placement from 6th semester i.e the end of third year itself, while many students start getting job offers at the start of 7th semester itself. The placememt percentage here is very good it is around 90% amd the average placement for 2025 placement session is around 15.76 lakh or maybe higher since results are not made available to us ye, the highest offer is around 55lakh+ according to some fourth year students. The number of companies visiting us are many; they include tech giants such as google,microsoft,amazon, sony, samsung, NVIDIA, quolcomm, AMD, Yahoo and highliting companies are Ceat, Volvo, Wolkswagen, LT, Bosch, mcafee and the list goes on and on and on. i plan on getting a job and then going for higher studies in a foreign university.

Life at NITT

Placement Experience:

Students sit for placements from the seventh semester. Placement Experience:

avg package is 12.56 lakh in mechanical branch placements is overall very good above than 87% . highest was around 62 lakhs but in circuital branch . i want a good hand salary job after that i want to give rest to my parents .

NIT TRICHY- COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

The placements are the best part of this college. This college provides a very good placements both on and off campus to its students the placement percentage is also very good for all the branches ofcourse the placement packages are higher for students of CSE AND ECE branches but others also get a very good package. Students get eligible for placements from the 4th year some even get a PPO from the company they do their intership at in the third year. Big and Prominent comapnies visit our college such as Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Tata Steel, Qualcom, NVIDIA and more recently they gave around 900 offers to the students the highest package was aroung 65 lpa and the average package stood at 16 lpa for the college which is very good as compared to other colleges. The student placement percentage is also very good where aroung 85-90 percent of the students gets placed evey year in defferent sectors like software, Data Science, Management and Core sectors of their branch.

IITM BS DEGREE - a game changer in distant education

I choose this college over the another colleges because it is the best degree degree over the BTech from low level or tier three tier four colleges, I was having many options for T3 colleges BTech CSE, but I chose this because I think it's the best I apply to SRMS Bareilly University all the colleges I was confirmed, but I chose this college because it was providing me latest curriculum and data science is very new in this. The admission process for this degree is like if you will register in a term, you have to pay. Thousand rupee registration fee.
